- ↑ The Army Comrades Association merged with Cumann na nGaedheal and the National Centre Party to form Fine Gael on 3 September 1933. Although at the time there was some influence of the Blueshirts ideology on the part in the very early days the party nowadays has no connection to their fascist past or their conservative past for that matter. In the Irish government some parties use their Blueshirted past as a way to attack the party despite having no link to it.
