Men's liberation is a movement focused on the restraints that modern society puts on men, particularly their ability to openly express their feelings and emotions, and to undertake in traditionally not "manly" tasks. They are often supportive of feminist movements although they tend to be somewhat conflicted on their self-identity. Usually identify as "anti-sexist" but can sometimes call themselves feminist depending on the context.

Relations

Friends

  • Feminism - Although we argue over a lot, you are still an ally in overcoming toxic masculinity.

Frenemies

  • Manosphere - I don't even disagree with you in principle, but you're just really really sexist and racist.
  • Patriarchy - I mean I am not sure if this really exists even, at least not for the average male in a Neoliberal Western Nation. Still screw your gender stereotypes!
  • Liberal Feminism - Yes, both women and men should be free! But NGL, "The future is female" sounds pretty cringe.

Enemies

  • Alt-Right - So, you think men being used as cannon fodder is empowering? I will pass...
  • Radical Feminism - Legit you just hate men. Women are not the only victims you know... Also why can't I act feminine? I will act how I want.
  • National Feminism - My arch nemesis--A literal Feminazi!
  • Matriarchy - Empowering females for the sake of empowering is bad. Also, pre-designed rules for both genders ain't sound right.
