Trade is something very important and a nation cannot live without it. It is however much harder for countries like Mexico to benefit from free trade because wages being so much smaller here than in other countries. Nonetheless, Free Trade is still much better than the homemade protectionist myth that has thankfully been mostly rid of here. The biggest problem with everything being home produced like so many protectionists want is production price. If everything was homemade what would end up happening is workers would be given their pay check, their pay check which costs as much as what they're producing leading to prices to jump really high because of how expensive labour is leading to a true price inequality. The Idea that charity is better than welfare is stupid. Charity given to churches, foudations, etc. are usually if not always had a hand stuck up their ass, with several middle men taking out what they believe is their share before it goes to who it was intended to go to. | |||

Trade is something very important and a nation cannot live without it.
