^^^{{UserBeryAb}} - It really doesn't. In theory, yes, they could form a cartel and operate and set arbitrary prices like a monopoly would, but in practice, one member of said group will inevitably backstab the other members by lowering prices, thus attracting more customers for themselves.

Cringe, although it had valid criticisms of capitalism for it’s time, but a planned economy won’t work
