Localism is the political philosophy which focuses on the local.
Localists want to put special emphasis on their local area, usually a town, village, municipality, or city; and believe that it should be governed locally, by local people and for local people.
Localism wants to protect the locality and its people, usually by preferring the local consumption and production of goods, promoting local history, strengthening local government, and/or promoting local culture and Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination community.
