Progressivism, also called Cultural Liberalism or Cultural Leftism, is an ideology that represents the cultural left-wing. Cultural Leftism views reality through a constructivist lens, and believes all inequalities are the result of "injustice." Cultural Leftism claims heritage and traditions that stems from the past should be discarded in favor of civic equality. Cultural Leftism may sometimes believe in cultural revolutions to destroy traditions, if necessary.

While any economic or civic system can be culturally left, Progressivism is usually heavily associated with left-wing politics due to it being culturally left and egalitarian. Some examples of culturally left ideologies that are not economically or civically left-wing include Pink Capitalism and Kemalism.
