Torfinn Østby (born 15 December 1983) is a Norwegian-Swedish scientist and revolutionary known for his exceptional contributions to the fields of physics, defense research, and military innovation. Born in 1983, Østby displayed a remarkable aptitude for academics from a young age. He pursued higher education and obtained multiple Master's degrees, including in Physics, Biomedical Engineering, and Aerospace Engineering, demonstrating his diverse expertise and interdisciplinary approach.
In 2025, Østby joined the Norwegian Revolutionary Front (NRF) during a time of political upheaval and societal transformation. While serving in the NRF, Østby leveraged his scientific knowledge and analytical skills to contribute significantly to the organization's research and development efforts. Rising through the ranks, he assumed the position of Colonel within the NRF's R&D division, where he played a crucial role in enhancing military capabilities and fostering innovation.
Following the conclusion of the conflict, Østby transitioned to the Council of Specialized Military Research, where he continued to make substantial contributions to the advancement of military technology and strategic planning. He solidified his reputation as a thought leader and researcher by authoring two notable books: "The Physics of Defense" (2032) and "Bridging Advanced Physics and Military Innovations" (2035). Today, Østby remains an esteemed figure in the field, recognized for his exceptional contributions to the intersection of science, military research, and innovation.
Østby was one of the many party members implicated in the 2039 Norwegian Coup, and after these events he was stripped of any rank and placed in prison to await trial.
