I am return (idk for how long tho)

The Superior Monastic Lifestyle

I fully believe that the Orthodox monastic lifestyle is superior to that of the modern civilization. Living a busy, meaningless, extroverted, lavish life is objectively inferior to a holy, ascetic, peaceful, introverted, meaningful one. Hence I fully intend to eventually become a monk, probably in Cyprus cuz I'm Cypriot. I would go anywhere though to embrace this holy path.

All Meaning and Holiness Is Lost

There is no more holiness nor meaning to life found anymore, everywhere there is only money worship even by those that claim to oppose it, even the monasteries are forced to make money to survive. And I don't foresee change for a long time, the world will only decay further.

Melding Anarchy and Theocracy

Anarchy is lack of a government, whereas theocracy is holy rule. So, I oppose human governments, which are extremely fallible and often wrong, thereby making me anarchist, but I also support angelic rule, which is infallible and correct, thereby making me a theocrat. So I am an anarcho-theocrat.

Decay Stages of the World

We can think of the world as having dementia, forgetting its holy beginning and traditions, slowly by each stage. Let's use The Caretaker's stages, even though those aren't the actual stages of dementia:

  • Stage 1 - "Here we experience the first signs of memory loss. This stage is most like a beautiful daydream. The glory of old age and recollection. The last of the great days" - We can see that this has already passed, and the world is very decayed already.
  • Stage 2 - "The second stage is the self realisation and awareness that something is wrong with a refusal to accept that. More effort is made to remember so memories can be more long form with a little more deterioration in quality. The overall personal mood is generally lower than the first stage and at a point before confusion starts setting in" - This has also already passed.
  • Stage 3 - "Here we are presented with some of the last coherent memories before confusion fully rolls in and the grey mists form and fade away. Finest moments have been remembered, the musical flow in places is more confused and tangled. As we progress some singular memories become more disturbed, isolated, broken and distant. These are the last embers of awareness before we enter the post awareness stages" - I'd say we are here, there is still awareness and some beauty, meaning and holiness, but barely and it is fading away.
  • Stage 4 - "Post-Awareness Stage 4 is where serenity and the ability to recall singular memories gives way to confusions and horror. It's the beginning of an eventual process where all memories begin to become more fluid through entanglements, repetition and rupture" - We are swiftly approaching this stage, I think, likely within our lifetimes.
  • Stage 5 - "Post-Awareness Stage 5 confusions and horror. More extreme entanglements, repetition and rupture can give way to calmer moments. The unfamiliar may sound and feel familiar. Time is often spent only in the moment leading to isolation" - This text actually fits with the current world imo if you look at surface value, but if you look deeper it will be much worse.
  • Stage 6 - "Stage 6 is without description" - This is of course the end of times. And the choir at the end symbolizes the end of the end, the end of the misery and evil, idk about the silence tho.
  1. I haven't read a single word of Baudrillard but from what I can tell I agree with him
  2. Obviously not the way it's described on the wiki
  3. I like all of Caretaker's music but I'm not making icons for AEBBTW etc cuz I can just use EATEOT icon
  4. That is, I don't want to accelerate, decelerate, zero accelerate or whatever, I just want to wait for the inevitable told future
