Bolsonarism is the ideology of the former president of Brazil and politician Jair Messias Bolsonaro, his supporters, and his allies. Bolsonarism is found at the far-right of the political spectrum, following neoliberal economics, and traditionalism as his social philosophy.
History
Bolsonaro was infamous as a federal deputy for his radical views on many political issues in a time when Brazil was moving on from the past Military Dictatorship. He gained national notority in 2016, during the impeachment of Dilma Rouseff and the Conservative Wave that was around the time, and he easily became popular within the Brazilian right, who was insatisfied with both Left-Wing presidents (Lula, Dilma, Sarney) and Centrist presidents (Temer, Cardoso, Franco), with the last right-wing president being Fernando Collor, elected in 1989 and impeached in 1993. Bolsonaro won the elections easily due to all the inner turmoil from Dilma's government.
Bolsonaro's government was marked by many political and economic crisis, as well as innefective government response to those issues. Bolsonaro presided over the Covid Pandemy, and he constantly ignored the illness when millions where dying. Bolsonaro also favoured the Agrobusiness over Indigenous rights, and many Indigenous activists died during his government by assasins hired by Agrobusiness to protect their own interests. And he had a strained relationship with the Supreme Court, with Bolsonaro attempts to increase executive powers having strong repercussion within the Supreme Court.
During the elections of 2022, Bolsonaro main rival was the former president Lula, who got recently released from prison. Bolsonaro was defeated by Lula, but the small margin of votes lead to many supporters of Bolsonaro to protest arguing that the election was stolen, to the point of invading the Congress right after the inauguration of Lula. Bolsonaro is still a controversial figure by many Brazilians; some view him as a person constantly bullied by the establishment and got plagued by issues he cannot control, while some view him as a dangerous demagogue who gave the Brazilians a false sense of hope among corruption while enriching himself and his cronies.

Bolsonaro is very rude and has a sharp tongue. He constantly insults and belittle left-wing balls, calling them "faggots" if they are male or "whores"s if they are female. He also hates Environmentalism, and censors the word "left" due to his radical anti-Leftism.
