Anti-Humanism a misanthropic ideology that opposes the existence of human beings. It posits that humanity is undesirable and should be done away with, usually either by going extinct or becoming something else. In philosophy, Anti-Humanism is simply an opposition to humanism as a philosophy (not actual humans).
History
Anti-Humanism is accredited in a large part to File:Ego.png Max Stirner and Friedrich Nietzsche, in "The Ego And It's Own" (Stirner), and "Genealogy Of Morals" (Nietzsche). Many Anti-Humanists also believe that mature Marx was not a "humanist", as he believed that "humanism" was an unreal abstraction that masks conflicts between antagonistic classes; since human rights are abstract, the justice and equality they protect is also abstract, permitting extreme inequalities in reality.
