The World Cup (Budapest) marked the first world cup tournament to take place since the Greater Collapses.

Information

The event will be hosted in Budapest. While the Polish Social Nationalist Republic (PSNR) offered the opportunity for each of its constituent kraj to compete, the international community rejected this proposal, and the PSNR demonstrated compliance. The PSNR, as well as the Federal Republic of Eastern Poland and Lithuania (FRWPIL) and Hispaniola, are participating in the games, despite the PSNR and Hispaniola lacking diplomatic recognition and the PSNR engaging in active warfare with FRWPIL. The Kultokrat of the PSNR stated that "this event is meant to be non-political, and terrorist states have been allowed in the World Cup before." The President of FRWPIL has yet to comment on the matter. The selection of Budapest as the tournament's location was decided by the PSNR and accepted by the international community at the AltUN Congress.
