Liberal Socialism, not to be confused social liberalism or libertarian socialism, is a broad set of political movements which combine liberal democratic values with socialist economics. A liberal socialist society could be said to be one in which all members of society are granted a set of inalianable positive and negative rights combined with an economic system based workplace democracy.
The term "Liberal Socialism" is also commonly used for ideologies that combine the economic systems of liberalism and socialism like social democracy, market socialism and social liberalism.
