Pērkonkrusts Or Thunder Cross Is A Culturally Far Right, Economically Neutral, Totalitarian, Ultranationalist, Anti-German, And Anti-Semitic Ideology That Inhabits The Authoritarian Right Sector of The Political Compass, Based Off of The Party of Gustavs Celmiņš.

History

Pērkonkrusts started in the pre-war Latvia. During it's time it was gaining lots of popularity. In 1934 however, the Latvian government had banned the Pērkonkrusts party and kicked their leader out of the country. In 1941, when USSR occupied Latvia, members of an illegal Pērkonkrusts movement were arrested and sent to Gulags in Siberia. When the Germans came and occupied Latvia, surviving members of the Pērkonkrusts were given jobs as SS officers and took a big part in the Latvian holocaust. However after the Germans found out that the Pērkonkrusts was involved in anti-German activities, they were all sent to a concentration camp in Bavaria, which ended the Pērkonkrusts for a very long while until a new Pērkonkrusts was created in Latvia when the USSR fell apart.
