The Kingdom of Ziółkowskigród operates as a hereditary monarchy, led by King Hubert Ziółkowski from the esteemed Ziółkowski Dynasty. Positioned strategically along the Slaw Strait, the kingdom exercises jurisdiction over a significant portion of this vital maritime route, enabling it to impose tariffs on crucial trade activities emanating from the southern regions. The Kingdom of Ziółkowskigród regards itself as the sole recognized and lawful entity representing the Sclavinctine cultural group, yet it explicitly disavows any aspirations for territorial expansion or the subjugation of Sclavinctine-dominated regions. Historical accounts suggest that the kingdom emerged in the aftermath of feudalistic influences extending from the southern territories into areas dominated by the Sclavinctinian tribes. As these tribes gradually established their own independent realms, the Kingdom of Ziółkowskigród emerged as a distinct polity, deriving its name from the dynasty that spearheaded its formation.

The Celestial Dominion of Acreneia (also known as Thanthies Acreneia or Tan Akrern in it's biggest native languages) is an Empire located south of Ziwilowskigrad, ruling over vast fields, forests, rivers and seas.

History

The Dominion was founded by Mereides III. of Balan, who defeated the Ulhknunid horde, which ruled and terrorized most of what is now part of the northern territories, in battle. Afterwards he went on to conquer a Great Empire and found the city of Cosmopolis, which was meant to be a symbol of prestige and hope to the entire world. However, after his death during his campaign into the dark forests, the Dominion was engulfed into a century long civil war, which ended with the loss of many territories which were once prosperous centers of trade and culture and the victory of the Meiresis council, oligarchs which claim to rule as regents in the name of Mereides III. and are consolidating their power over Cosmopolis and thus over the entire Dominion ever since.

The City of Cosmopolis

Despite being confined to a rather small island, Cosmopolis contains most of the entire population of the dominion in its massive towers. It is the most advadvanced and richest place within the country, and an awesome sight for any visitor from near and far, yet it is plagued by immense social inequality between the elites around the Meiresis council and the growing population of urban workers and craftsmen, which is kept quiet with panem et circenses.

The Northern territories

Most of the territories are legally not direct parts of the dominion, but instead vassal states, bound to the rule of Cosmopolis by unequal military and economic agreements and kept in check through the vast armed forces of the Empire. The Territories are mainly inhabited by rural commoners who are increasingly discontent over the influence of the dominion in their way of life. Those commoners are mainly part of three groups: The Greater Acreneian majority, the Little Acrenian minority near the northern river and travelling merchants which don't own any land and therefore make their living by trading different throughout the Dominion.

The Dark Forest

The dark forest is a mysterious and dangerous place in which various renegades, creatures and dark powers hide, it's the place where the cursed tongue comes from. It is recommended to not go anywhere near it in any circumstance.

Strocatello is a Mercantile Republic that was created to unite the Seven Families of the Strocatello River. With the combined naval strength of the families, it presents a formidable trading conglomerate, and maintains a tight grip of control over the adjacent strait. The families don't really get along all that well, but they put aside their differences well enough to each nominate someone to become the republic's Chief Magistrate, the Serene Ducca Of The Republic.

If a house had to be the strongest, it would be Duratillion, they didn't have the naval capacity of the other houses, but they did have the revenues from their less than legal expenditures to fund expansions of the navy on a national scale, thus contributing to the nations early developing economy, and still, with their illegal endeavours expanded, provide a valuable source of income for the republic.

before it's absorbtion into strocatello, Chaugnac prided itself on being a house of thinkers. it's non-noble members were all either Monks, or paladins, serving the ancient art of wisdom both in the scrolls of the ancients, and on the battlefield. Despite this, their house has since declined in it's size, and it's remaining members are committed to maintaining it's ancient temples and libraries erected along the strocatello river, to preserve the knowledge of their existence.

The Kingdom of the Isvanes is a nation lying in the Central Reach Islands. The Isvanes claim descent from the mythic Risvaones tribe of Valendria, whom migrated, along with several other Valendrian tribes, to the isle of Isvaneland around 200 years ago. It is an absolute monarchy under the rulership of Frederick 'the Indominable' of house Aldwaster. In the small economy of the island realm, all farmlands, shipyards, mines and so forth are personally owned by the King. To him, the labourers pay tribute; and in return the King graciously gives, among many things, livestock, tools and infrastructure to his people. Kingdom of the Isvanes

Crasi-Kora is the name given to a cluster of islands in the Central Reach Islands. After being virtually uninhabited (excluding the native tribes) for decades, Crasi-Kora was settled by a small handful of travelling merchants who sought to make the islands a powerful country built on trade and commerce sometime in the seventh or sixth century. After a handful of wars between feudal kingdoms and merchant republics; the islands in the area have become united after a joint union between the countries of Crasi and Kora. Originally meant to be a joint monarchy between the two countries, a powerful bureaucracy has since reduced the monarchy's authority to a purely ceremonial stance; rather then removing it entirely in order to appease the masses.

Besides this, Crasi-Kora is a relatively nice country, with rocky and flat grasslands in the north; and thick brush and jungle in the south. The country's culture is a mixture of the original natives who settled the islands and the distinct Crasian and Koran cultures, cultural minorities are generally permitted as long as they promise to integrate and to accept Crasi-Koran social norms and customs. The government of Crasi-Koran is relatively central and meritocratc(ish) compared to the feudal systems of other countries at the time; which is due to the island's remoteness and isolation, thereby encouraging co-operation in order to survive or destruction and annexation to those who resist. The economy of Crasi-Kora can be described as a limited palace economy with a higher emphasis on private ownership and entrepreneurship.

The Kingdom of Northern Valendria is a hereditary monarchy situated in the north of the continent of Valendria, as the name implies. It is known for it's warriorlike culture, and for being deeply religious. The dominant culture is that of the Valendrians, a hardy people known for their honorable conduct. The kingdom first emerged roughly 100 years ago after the Great Valendrian Period, in which Valendrian sailors travelled the world, raiding and pillaging, settling and exploring, and forging their own realms, the Kingdom of Northern Valendria was founded after the 23 Valendrian tribes banded together after the Council of 100. The kingdom is rather wealthy, due to it's raiding, and it's trade routes along the Central Reach and the Strait of Erikr. Kingdom of Northern Valendria

The Peasants' Republic of Gyeoul is a republic located in the southeastern part of the world. It is a confederation of peasant communities, united under a common banner following the success of a great peasants' war known as the Konkotsu Rebellion that broke the old feudal monarchy. Not much is known of the old kingdom, mostly due to the violent destruction of anything having to do with the old ways by the various mobs that formed over the course of the rebellion, and immediately afterwards a period of chaotic ochlocracy took place.

Following the calming of emotions and the rebuilding of the country after the war, the nation has been reorganized under a loose republican form of governance, with each community electing a leader to represent them in a national peasants' assembly. Feudalism within the republic has been abolished; rather, the land is worked and owned in common, according to the principles of the Konkotsu movement.

Governance within each community is organized in a directly democratic nature, with each community forming a citizens' assembly whenever laws must be passed and a delegate elected to represent them in the national Peasants' Assembly. These delegates do not have any power of their own; rather their only job is to reflect the wills of their respective communities who have the ultimate say in national matters, such as in the election of governmental officials, the declaration of wars, and the ratification of treaties.

To safeguard against the concentration of power and to ensure against the creation of another powerful monarchy, the responsibilities of head of state are split against three officials elected from the Peasants' Assembly known as the Council of Three, who collectively oversee the affairs of state and, should they be deemed unfit by the masses, are instantly recallable following a majority vote from the Assembly.

Geographically, the southern and western parts of the nation have well-developed arable plains, while the eastern and northern parts are mountainous, both providing natural defense against outside invaders as well as leading to the isolation of the nation from the outside world. A small colony to the east provides an outlet to the world however, and serves as a lucrative trading post and hub for sailors looking to resupply. Gyeoul is surrounded by the Sea of Arukoru to the southeast and the Konjou Bay (West Bay) to the west, with the Yeol River separating Gyeoul from the northwest.
