Maoism or Mao Zedong Thought is a type of 
Marxism-Leninism associated with Mao Zedong, the chairman of the Communist Party of China. Maoism can be identified as 
economically far-left, 
totalitarian, and File:Culturalcenter.png culturally Variable It is important to note that 
Maoism proper was formulated by 
Chairman Gonzalo and the 
Peruvian Communist Party. During the times of Chairman Mao, his thought was known as Mao Zedong Thought.
