Alvesianism is an economically right-wing, culturally neutral(but leaning left due to it's technophilia) and authoritarian ideology that represents the beliefs of the Brazilian president between 1902 to 1906, Rodrigues Alves.
History
Alves was always an very popular politician in Brazil, and one day he suddently becomed the President of brazil. he was an technophile himself, and he wanted to make Brazil part of the 'first world', and he was highly inspired by the french and argentinian culture.
He was the president during the vaccine revolt, where the Brazilian government expelled the poor population of the Rio de Janeiro to the favelas, and they were also applying a vaccine against variola to them. but, they didn't knowed about what were vaccines, so they naturally revolted. it caused an massive nadyr on his popularity, and he even nearly suffered a coup. he was also the president during the annexation of Acre. after his presidency, he tried to become the president again in 1918, but he suffered an pneumonia and died making Epitacio pessoa, the president of brazil.
