Jedpilled (at the time going by the username Nerdy Squirtle) first became interested in politics after discovering the anti-sjw youtube community in early 2017, being raised a Christian, he was quickly radicalized to a significantly conservative position on economic and cultural issues, identifying as a combination of 
Classical Liberalism and 
Conservatism.
Politics: Now in Glorious 2D!
During early 2019, Jedpilled was sent 
Jreg's Political Compass Rap by a friend, and soon after discovered the Political Compass Memes subreddit, flairing himself as a libright. He continued to use the subreddit for the remainder of the year and much of 2020, very rarely posting or commenting. During this time he had referred to himself as a 
Paleolibertarian as he started taking slightly more libertarian stances while becoming slightly further culturally right.
