Structure
Federalism
The United Kingdom needs to be federalized. This is a priority.
Under the Westminster-dominant system that we have today, with false ideas such as "devolution" which still aim to keep the power in the hands of Westminster, whilst tricking the people in Scotland or other areas that they have some authority, like some kind of student council-esque bullshit, people are unrepresented and this is terrible. The Scottish want more autonomy or even independence and the latter is starting to look more realistic, as Scottish independence parties continuously gain more seats.
Orkney
Orkney has recently wanted to join Norway. I believe that if the people want this, they should have it.
Yes, a vote must be conducted for all citizens of Orkney for them to decide what happens.
Provinces
The Commonwealth of Britain must be split into provinces, with different levels.
Name/Type | Level | Examples |
---|---|---|
State | 1 | State of Wales |
Island Republics | 1 | Island Republic of Guernsey |
Province | 2 | Province of Yorkshire |
City State | 3 | City of London |
State - These are the first provincial layer, alongside Island Republics.
Island Republics - These are the same as States, but they only consist of a few provinces.
Province - These are provinces inside of the states.
City State - These are individual cities, which are not under the authority of any state.
The Capital
There shall be no defined capital of the country because there shall be no Central Authority.
States shall have their own power, just limited by the Constitution.
People shall not vote for a Prime Minister, but instead elect members to the Congress.
The Constitution
TODO.
The Congress
The Union Congress shall consist of 1406 seats (650 from Commons, 756 from Lords (the 25 bishops are removed)).
Renaming
We shall be renaming many things that are from olden days.
HM shall be dropped from any government position.
Crown Dependencies are now Island Republics.
Kingston upon Hull shall just be "Hull".
King's Lynn shall become "Lynn".
King's Langley shall become "Langley".
I think you get it.
Multi-Seating
If the people feel it is necessary, a single person may hold more than one seat. This gives them the power to have more votes. This is only if the people want it though.
The Monarchy
Status of the Monarchy
I believe that the Commonwealth of Britain Bill must be passed at all costs, with a few revisions which I will state below.
This means the total removal of the Monarchy.
Colonial Reparations
I believe that the Monarchy should be forced to pay colonial reparations, instead of the taxpayer.
Crown Dependencies
The Crown Dependencies shall become new Island Republics of the Union, with the same rights as all provinces.
The Royal Prerogative
The powers of the Royal Prerogative must be put in the hands of not the government, but the people.
This includes the ability to dissolve parliament, if the people feel it is necessary.
Keeping the monarch powerful enough to dissolve parliament is ruins from an olden time, which must be cleansed for a truly democratic society.
Trade Unions
As a firm supporter of Trade Unions, I believe they should have more power.
No longer shall the working man be subjugated under power brought by unfair wealth accumulation.
We must unionize every worker. Every single one, into one united trade union, controlled by the people.
When the people control the union, they control their destiny.
