Vistulism is a economically centre to centre-right (or more right, idrk where to put it), socially centre-left, meritocratic political ideology describing the views of User:MaritimeVistula.
It strongly believes in the disestablishment of 
"crony capitalism", capitalism which favors 
conserving class boundaries, kleptocracy and 
helping those who are "government favorites" and instead wishes for an ideal of capitalism which is more 
meritocratic and 
inclusive, which it likes to call "orthodox capitalism", despite that not being orthodox at all (who cares, just rewrite history lol).
Vistulism takes many of it's ideas from Meritocracy, believing that wealth can be considered "illegitimate" if you haven't done anything to properly earn it. For example, large families which trace themselves back to centuries ago and who didn't work for any of their wealth but instead got it through fancy ass titles (e.g. the entire leadership of the 
UK Conservative Party.) Unlike Meritocracy however, it believes that leaders shouldn't be assigned based on merit but instead 
popular vote, since getting the popular vote is itself a form of hard work (unless your in a motherfucking two-party system where you're pretty much just flipping a blooming coin).
Despite being quite right-leaning, Vistulism still likes ideas from 
Socialism, believing that socialism may even be possible as an intermission stage to spread out the wealth until we can let loose actual meritocracy where all have an equal chance. Vistula also is a liker of Jeremy Corbyn because of his good moral values and genuine advocacy for helping the people.

Why we must rid ourselves of FPTP
We need to bid farewell to the outdated First Past the Post (FPTP) system and instead use a a more just and balanced electoral system such as the Single Transferable Vote (STV).
FPTP's notorious spoiler effect has led to countless situations where third-party candidates, even if they have goals that resonate with a significant portion of the population, end up splitting the vote and inadvertently aiding the victory of a candidate who does not represent the majority. This is far from fair, and it undermines the core democratic principle of representation, which is slowly drifting away in our modern society.
Minority rule is another flaw in the FPTP system. It allows a candidate to win without securing the majority of votes, essentially letting a minority dictate the outcome. Such a setup not only means unequal representation but can also lead to policies that do not reflect the true will of the people. This needs to stop as it is branding any democratic state as a mere citizen oligarchy.

Rule by Decree vs Incompetence
We are coming into a world where there are two types of democratic governments.
Rule by decree or "can't do shit".
Rule by decree is shitty, it allows the government to do whatever the fuck it wants.
