It has the exact same misaligned corruption-inducing economic incentives that democracy has, except it's even worse because the power concentration leads to ungodly amounts of corruption that will suck your economy dry. You can partially offset that through a very liberal economic policy, which reduces corruption somewhat by creating an avenue for people to enrich themselves without wrecking the country, but then a significant portion of other forms of corruption would just get replaced by business corruption. You can solve that by having a "privately-owned" government, like a monarchy or a joint-stock timocracy, which eliminate the misaligned corruption-inducing economic incentives, thus solving that problem.
