I explicitly caution against the usage of socialist patriotism and even directly state as such that it overlaps often with nationalism. I do not subscribe to the idea; I only recognize it as having some amount of influence on me (thus being in the family category).
It is likewise strange to me that you brush off my expressed agreements and disagreements with Mao as solely being 'class collaborationist', when in fact it is through Mao's class collaborationism (of course a product of Stalin's with People's Democracy) that I break with him. He was revisionist; this is certain, and I would never call myself a Maoist. However to imply that this invalidates all of his theory- especially considering when put into effect it has generally benefited the socialist movement- is short-sided. There is nothing revisionist about the Cultural Revolution, of Protracted People's War or the Mass Line; none that I have seen nor heard about. I thus must question whether this description is an informed one or one of backlash against my own notes about you.
I also very much disagree with you on the notion that a vanguard party is 'outdated'. It has very much shown not to be.
