LGBT Reactionarism is a culturally reactionary ideology that supports LGBT Rights. Unlike LGBT Conservatism however, it supports returning to a previous status quo rather than preserving the current one, undoing already existing progress in the process and possibly even returning to pre-enlightenment values.
1. We always existed! The most common case for LGBT Reactionarism is the idea that LGBT people, in particular homosexuality, has always exited and is, in fact, often part of the tradition a reactionary would want to look back on. It essentially believes that homosexuality and/or being LGBT in general is a natural constant and/or a essential part to the way of life for the previous status quo which the Ideologe wishes to restore. "Being gay in itself is trad" perhaps.
2. A combination of modernity and reaction Another approach sees the adoption of modern values, such a Progressivism, into the tradition; essentially revising it. This approach could be essentially be understood as a LGBT-focused version of Progressive Reactionarism.
