Narco-Monarchism

Narco-Monarchism, or Narco-Imperialism, is an ideology that states that a country can make easy conquests and a bunch of money by supplying their victim with huge amount of narcotics. By monopolizing narcotic trade they are able to hold power over their colonial or neo-colonial victim that is dependent of the colonizers supply.

Narco-Imperialism has been implemented more times than is comfortable, to weaken one state and justify domination by a foreign power as bringing “peace” to a “failed state”. However it was most famously implemented by the British and their head of state Queen Victoria that instigated the Opium Wars with China, this is where it got the name Narco-Monarchism.
