Heyo, it's Goober. I am making this page to explain why I am leaving this community.
- 1. Politics made a negative impact on my life Being exposed to many ideas made me doubt my views all the time. As childish as that sounds, I genuinely felt like I was about to switch my views every day. Of course, this isn't good for an already self-doubting and self-negative person like me.
- 2. General problems with the community This wiki became a cesspool of the alt-right, and I don't care if I sound like an SJW. Things like Anti-Semitism being not only widely accepted and quite dominant in the modbase of the community is rather concerning. This has gotten to the point that typical "muh kikes muh sjws muh liberal agenda muh deep state" NazCaps are a fairly big chunk of the community.
- 3. General concern for the mods The fact that almost half of the mods voted to keep the psychopathic gooner weeb nazi Mugi should say enough.
- 4. General concern for the Edginess in the community With the rise of "political edginess" in the community I fear that the
matrixtwitter users and people in charge of moderating the internet in large will eventually ban this community, and I seriously don't want to be associated with it if that happens. - 5. New hobby I felt myself more attracted to philosophy than to politics lately.
- 6. Focusing on myself Fairly self-explanatory.
I might come back if I feel like it at some point, idk I am very bipolar, but that is unlikely.
