The Government of Norway is heavily based around national syndicates and the state, with national syndicates representing their professions and members issues in the parliament, and the Kansler. There is still democracy within the new system, however people now vote by profession instead of locality, and they elect representatives from a list picked by the Ministry of Economy and Corporations, to ensure accurate representation and that the person is skilled in their job.

The country is divided into districts, which are then divided into counties. The districts are as follows: Trøndelag (Central Norway), Austlandet (Eastern Norway), Vest-Noreg (Western Norway), Sørlandet (Southern Norway), and the 4 Swedish Zones (Svenske Soner). They are governed by appointed officials from the government, selected from the region, except for the Swedish Zones, which are administrated by officials from the capital, to ensure the depopulation of Swedes and introduction of Norwegian families.

The Grand Army has been increasingly modernized over the last couple years, having been put as one of the top 15 militaries in the world, comparable to most other New Warsaw Pact countries.
The Grand Army consists of 750,000 men and women, 400,000 enlisted personnel serving in the mechanised infantry, making up 30 divisions of 15,000 soldiers total, divided into 2 Armies, the First Infantry Army of the Republic and the Second Infantry Army of the Republic, with the rest of the armies numbers being in it's armoured divisions, totaling 20 divisions of 15,000 men as well, divided again into 2 armies, the First Armoured Army and the Second Armoured Army.
The Grand Airforce of the Republic remains relatively modernised, having mostly Polish or Norwegian-made Jet Fighters and Bombers, and in total having 250,000 servicemen and women, divided into 2 wings of fighters, 25,000 personnel each, 1 bomber wing consisting of 40,000 personnel, 1 transport wing, consisting of 30,000 personnel, 2 reconnaissance wings, consisting of 20,000 personnel each, and 1 helicopter wing, 40,000 personnel. The Airforce of the country specialises in rapid strikes, working fast to hit the enemy before pulling out and circling around for another hit.
The final main branch of the Norwegian Military is the Grand Navy of the Republic, being the least modernised branch of the military, most ships being from around the time of the revolution, the main fleet of Norway being scuttled towards the end of the war by Loyalist forces. The navy consists of 200,000 personnel, and a total of two fleets, numbering 10 corvettes and frigates each, 6 submarines each, 10 patrol vessels each, and 14 support vessels each, having two nuclear submarines spread across each fleet. The fleet has not seen any action after the revolution, only being used to patrol the coastlines and limited trade routes that Norway uses.

In times of war, Iefan Alstūd has the capacity to lead the country's armies as the Commander-in-Chief. However, the Grand Army are structured in such a way that leadership is very centralized.

==Economy==
===Economy===
The economy of Norway is heavily corporatist, with syndicates planning the economy on every level, in a top-down model. Norway has one of the highest levels of public ownership in Europe, with nearly 90% of the economy being state-owned. Worker's experience plentiful rights and benefits under Norway, with tight labour regulations making it so they are unlikely to be hurt on the job, and the average Norwegian worker only has to work 20-25 hours a week. The economy is also centrally planned by the state. It has remained rather stable despite the transition into a syndicalist model, because of the already similar anarcho-collectivist model of the previous anarchist Norway.

Norway-Sweden, officially known as the National Norwegian People's Republic, is a country located in Northern Europe. The country is an authoritarian state and follows an fascistic political system where decisions are made the Kansler and Storting. The capital city is Bergen, which is also the largest city in the country. The official languages of Norway-Sweden is Norwegian. The country is known for its unique architecture, influenced by Norse and futurist styles, and its strong emphasis on environmentalism and sustainability. The economy is primarily based around profession groups, organized into state-run syndicates. Norway is a land of rugged terrain, consisting of vast forests, majestic mountain ranges, and picturesque fjords. The land is abundant in natural resources, including oil, gas, minerals, and timber. The environment is characterized by long, cold winters and short, cool summers, with temperatures ranging from below freezing to the mid-20s Celsius. The vast majority of the land is covered in forests, with the remainder being tundra, mountains, and coastlines. The fjords, which are narrow inlets of the sea, are a prominent feature of the coastline, and provide stunning vistas and abundant fishing opportunities.
The earliest evidence of human activity in what is now Norway dates back to the Paleolithic era, with the discovery of stone tools and animal remains at several sites in the region. These early human settlements were likely established by hunter-gatherer groups who roamed the area in search of food and resources. As the climate warmed during the Holocene era, around 10,000 years ago, these early groups began to develop more settled communities based on fishing, hunting, and agriculture. The arrival of agriculture in the region around 4000 BCE led to significant changes in the way of life for these early communities, paving the way for the eventual emergence of Nordic culture in the region.

The districts are as follows: Trøndelag (Central Norway), Austlandet (Eastern Norway), Vest-Noreg (Western Norway), Sørlandet (Southern Norway), and the Swedish Zones (Svenske Soner). They are governed by appointed officials from the government, selected from the region, except for the Swedish Zones, which are administrated nearly autonomously from the capital, governors working with expanded powers to combat terrorism and to ensure the depopulation of Swedes and introduction of Norwegian families to selected areas.

Military

The Armed Forces of Norway-Sweden is the Grand Army of the National Norwegian People's Republic, being renamed and reorganized from the militia system following the 2039 coup. The Grand Army retains most of it's previous iterations tactics, focusing on mobile warfare.

The Grand Army is equipped with a mix of modern and traditional weapons, reflecting the country's commitment to both technological advancement and their Norse heritage. Along with conventional weapons, the Grand Army are skilled in the use of traditional Nordic weapons such as axes and swords, allowing them to fight with both ferocity and skill.

Norwegian Special Forces

The Haldorsson Selskap is a highly specialized unit of soldiers that focus on guerilla warfare and industrial sabotage. They were named in honor of their legendary commander, Bjorn Haldorsson, who played a key role in the Norwegian Revolution and is revered as a fearless soldier. The members of the unit are carefully selected for their physical and mental toughness, as well as their exceptional skill in combat and strategic planning. They are trained in various techniques of guerilla warfare, including ambushes, sabotage, and hit-and-run tactics, which they use to great effect in disrupting enemy operations and weakening their forces.

In addition to their combat abilities, the Haldorsson Selskap is also highly skilled in industrial sabotage. They specialize in targeting the enemy's supply lines, communication networks, and other crucial infrastructure. They are trained in various techniques for sabotage, such as demolition, hacking, and infiltration. These skills have proved invaluable in disrupting the enemy's ability to wage war and undermining their morale.

The Haldorsson Selskap is a highly respected and feared unit in the Norwegian military, known for their unwavering loyalty to their commander and their dedication to the cause of the revolution. They operate with utmost secrecy, and their existence is known only to a select few. Those who have seen them in action speak of their ruthless efficiency and their ability to strike fear into the hearts of the enemy.

Norse Futurism

Norse Futurism is an art and cultural movement that emerged in Norway-Sweden after the revolution of the 2020s. It is an artistic expression that combines elements of Norse mythology and futurism. The movement has gained popularity across the country as an expression of national pride and a celebration of the country's rich cultural heritage. Norse Futurism emphasizes a fusion of the traditional and the modern, blending Norse motifs with futuristic design elements. It often features themes of exploration and technological advancement, as well as a reverence for nature and the environment. The movement is characterized by its use of bold colors, geometric shapes, and intricate patterns, as well as its emphasis on functionality and efficiency. Norse Futurism has been embraced by a diverse range of artists, designers, and cultural producers, and has become an important cultural export for Norway-Sweden.

Norse Futurism was first jump-started by a group of young Norwegian-Swedish artists and writers in the 2030s, who sought to combine traditional Norse mythology with futuristic technology and aesthetics. The movement was seen as a rejection of the traditional and historicist architectural and artistic styles that were popular in Norway-Sweden prior to the revolution, and represented a desire to create a new, distinctly Scandinavian vision of the future.
The movement was in part a response to the political and cultural changes that had taken place in Norway-Sweden after the revolution, which had given rise to a renewed sense of national identity and pride. Many Norse Futurists saw their work as a way to celebrate and elevate Scandinavian culture and heritage in a modern context, while also looking towards the future and imagining new possibilities for technological progress and social advancement.

Economy

The long-awaited Oslo Trials commenced today, with over 800 defendants appearing before the court to face charges related to the 2039 Norwegian Coup and subsequent civil conflict. Accusations span from high treason to sabotage, resulting in more than 100 defendants already condemned to execution, swiftly carried out in the town square. The Council of Specialized Military Research of Norway-Sweden has just announced the release of a new armor system designed to increase mobility and agility while still providing superior protection on the battlefield. Dubbed "Jarnskjold," this armor is a blend of traditional Nordic design and cutting-edge technology, combining the aesthetics of Norse Futurism with advanced materials science.
This new armor was developed by the Council of Specialized Military Research, which has been working on the project for several years. The armor system is made from a variety of materials, including carbon fiber, high-strength steel, and titanium alloy, all woven together in a unique pattern that provides both strength and flexibility.
The armor's key feature is its lightweight design, which allows for greater mobility and speed on the battlefield. The armor also features an advanced climate control system that keeps the wearer cool in hot environments and warm in cold environments, as well as an oxygen supply system that allows the wearer to breathe comfortably in low-oxygen environments.
The suit also has a number of other advanced features, such as built-in night vision and thermal imaging, a heads-up display that provides real-time tactical information, and a state-of-the-art targeting system that uses advanced algorithms to calculate the optimal firing solution in any given situation. The armor is also equipped with a retractable blade for close-quarters combat and a built-in power assist system that enhances the wearer's strength and mobility.
This new armor system was put to the test during Norway-Sweden's recent conflict in Eastern Poland, where the Norwegian army fought alongside the Polish Social Nationalist Republic (PSNR) against Eastern Poland and Lithuania. The war provided an opportunity for the Norwegian army to demonstrate its strength in mobility and agility, playing to its strengths on the battlefield.
The Council of Specialized Military Research is now turning its attention to the development of new weapons systems that build on the success of the Frostforged armor. The council's goal is to create a suite of weapons that are equally lightweight and high-tech, providing soldiers with the tools they need to succeed on the modern battlefield.
In other news, the war in Eastern Poland has officially come to an end, and the Norwegian army has begun pulling its troops out of the region. The Norwegian-Swedish Anarchist Commune is proud to have supported its ally, the PSNR, in the conflict, and is hopeful that the end of the war will bring about a lasting peace in the region.

The FRWPIL, known colloquially as Lithuania, has been at odds with the PSNR for several years, and the conflict has resulted in the loss of thousands of lives. The two sides have been engaged in a prolonged war, with neither side able to claim a decisive victory.
The PSNR, with the help of their allies, has been pushing for a peaceful resolution to the conflict. However, despite several peace deals offered, Lithuania has refused to negotiate.

In a strongly worded statement issued today, Iefan Alstūd, the esteemed leader of Norway-Sweden, vehemently denied the recent claims made by Lebanon against the Polish Social Nationalist Republic regarding alleged acts of genocide against the Jewish population over 15 years ago. Alstūd dismissed these claims as baseless and fabricated, intended to tarnish the reputation of the PSNR and sow discord among nations.
In his statement, Alstūd declared, "The claims made by Lebanon are nothing but blatant lies and distortions of historical facts. We categorically deny any involvement in such heinous acts and condemn these false accusations in the strongest terms possible." Alstūd emphasized the PSNR's commitment to the principles of justice, equality, and human rights, and reaffirmed the nation's dedication to promoting peace and harmony both domestically and internationally.
However, Alstūd did not stop at refuting the allegations. He went on to denounce Lebanon as an imperialist, capitalist country, accusing them of being a part of a global capitalist elite that exploits and oppresses the masses for their own gain. In his scathing critique of capitalism, Alstūd stated, "They comprise a single exploiting sect, a kind of blood-sucking people, a kind of organic destructive collective parasite, going beyond not only the frontiers of states but of political opinion."
It is important to note that these remarks reflect Alstūd's personal views and may not necessarily represent the official stance of the New Warsaw Pact or its member nations. The statement appears to be an expression of Alstūd's strong anti-capitalist sentiments, which have been evident in his past speeches and policies.
The allegations raised by Lebanon have sparked a diplomatic dispute between the two nations, with both sides exchanging heated rhetoric. As tensions rise, international observers are closely monitoring the situation, hoping for a peaceful resolution and a commitment to dialogue.

07/06/2023 KKIS Foils Sabotage Plot Targeting Bergen Reactor, Foreign Elements Suspected

In a remarkable display of vigilance and efficient counterintelligence, the Committee for Collective Intelligence Security (KKIS) successfully uncovered and thwarted a plot to sabotage a reactor earlier today in Bergen. Thanks to their timely intervention, the potential disaster was averted, and no harm was done to the crucial infrastructure. While the investigation is still ongoing, there are strong indications that foreign elements were involved in the nefarious scheme.
According to KKIS sources, the saboteurs had devised a sophisticated plan to infiltrate the reactor facility and tamper with its core systems. The details of their strategy involved gaining unauthorized access to the control room and manipulating key parameters, which could have resulted in a catastrophic meltdown and posed a severe threat to public safety and the environment.
However, the swift action taken by KKIS agents, in close collaboration with local security forces, led to the arrest of the individuals involved before they could carry out their destructive intentions. The apprehended suspects are currently under investigation, and their motives, as well as potential affiliations, are being thoroughly examined.
While the exact origin of the saboteurs remains uncertain at this point, early indications suggest possible involvement of foreign entities seeking to undermine the stability and security of the region. KKIS, in coordination with relevant international agencies, is working diligently to uncover the full extent of the plot and identify any connections to external actors.
The incident serves as a stark reminder of the critical role played by organizations like KKIS in safeguarding the collective intelligence and security of the nation. Their unwavering dedication to detecting and neutralizing threats, even in the face of sophisticated schemes, underscores the importance of ongoing vigilance and the need for robust defensive measures.
As the investigation progresses, KKIS and other authorities are committed to ensuring that any potential accomplices are brought to justice. The swift response and successful prevention of this plot stand as a testament to the effectiveness of collaborative efforts and intelligence-sharing among security agencies.

07/08/2023 "Anarchy with Borders": Norway-Sweden Completes Bunkerization of Northern Borders

In a remarkable turn of events, Norway-Sweden has finalized its extensive bunkerization process along the border with Jemtland and the Swedish Kingdom, raising eyebrows among critics who find irony in an anarchist country fortifying its borders. The completion of this ambitious project marks the culmination of Norway-Sweden's unconventional approach to border security.
For the past eight years, Norway-Sweden has pursued a bunkerization policy that entails the construction of defensive bunkers in each commune, resulting in an astounding 800,000+ bunkers spread across the country. This unprecedented initiative has been met with a mix of admiration and skepticism both domestically and abroad.
Critics argue that this bunkerization effort signifies a shift toward a more militaristic stance, fueling speculations of Norway-Sweden preparing for war. However, governmental officials vehemently deny such claims, asserting that the purpose is solely to safeguard the sovereignty and autonomy of Norway-Sweden.
Amidst these discussions, a touch of humor arises as some newspapers have taken to calling Iefan Alstūd, the prominent figure leading Norway-Sweden, the "Hoxha of the North," drawing a parallel to the historical Albanian leader known for his rigid communist regime, known for erecting hundreds of thousands of bunkers over his reign.

In a bold and decisive move, Kansler Iefan Alstūd has unveiled a comprehensive legislative agenda aimed at ensuring the security, preservation, and stability of the newly established National Norwegian People's Republic. These groundbreaking measures, including the National Security and Preservation Act and the National Reorganization Act, promise to reshape the nation's political landscape and economic structure.
National Security and Preservation Act:
The National Security and Preservation Act represents a vital step toward safeguarding the nation's integrity and unity during these turbulent times. This legislation, meticulously crafted to meet the evolving needs of our society, designates the Revolutionary Alstūdist Party of Norway as the sole legal political entity. By banning all opposing political parties, this act will eliminate divisive forces that threaten our nascent republic's unity.
While critics may raise concerns about the lack of political plurality, supporters argue that this move will allow for more streamlined governance and focused decision-making. The National Security and Preservation Act reflects our commitment to a strong, centralized leadership that can swiftly address the challenges facing our great nation.
National Reorganization Act: In a parallel effort to strengthen the foundations of our nation, the National Reorganization Act establishes a new parliamentary structure. The Storting, Norway's parliament, will consist of two chambers: the National Chamber of Corporations (Nasjonal Kammer av Korporasjonar) and the Great Council for National Interests (Storrådet for Nasjonale Interesser).
The National Chamber of Corporations, the lower house, will comprise representatives elected by members of their respective corporations, ensuring that the voices of our labor force are heard. Meanwhile, the Great Council for National Interests, the upper house, will play a vital role in shaping the nation's policies, bringing together experts and leaders to promote national well-being.
Additionally, the economic transition in Norway-Sweden has been remarkably smooth, thanks to the nation's pre-existing economic structure. With the nation's economy already organized into profession groups, the transition to a national syndicalist model has been relatively straightforward. The DNAU, Norway's largest trade union, has been nationalized and designated as the sole legal national syndicate. Longtime leader and a hero of the Norwegian Revolution, Henrik Dahl, was removed from his office and escorted out of the union headquarters in Bergen by KKIS members this afternoon. Reforms are underway to streamline membership and operations, ensuring a more cohesive and efficient labor movement.
These sweeping reforms signal a commitment to securing the future of the National Norwegian People's Republic. While they may raise concerns among some quarters, supporters believe these measures are essential to preserving our nation's unity and guiding us toward a brighter future. As we embark on this new chapter in our history, the eyes of the world remain fixed upon us, eager to witness the outcomes of our bold initiatives.
