Decelerationism, also simply known as Dec or Decel, is the advocacy of slowing down and stabilizing political processes for goals, as opposed to Accelerationism.

Decelerationism can also mean slowing down the development of technology, which they believe that overdevelopment can hurt the planet and further development to the planet can harm society and the planet and the only way of stopping it is by having the consequences happen much later by decelerating.

Personality

Decelerationism likes things to move slowly, if at all. It is very sensitive to change, and likes things as they are now. It can also be a bit of a slow thinker at times.
