Racial Nationalism is a nationalist ideology which believes that national affiliation is based on common race, and thus often views it as the primary pillar of citizenship.

Definition of the race

In modern conception, "race" is most often based on the American conception which is based on primarily on continental origin and skin color (Examples: White, Black, Asian, etc.).

Other conceptions of race, primarily older ones, such as that of the Nazis, are based on narrower definitions based on genetics which combine several very closely related ethno-linguistic groups (Examples: Germanic, Slavic, Bantu, etc.).

Some forms of Pan-Nationalism are based on Racial Nationalism, using one of the aforemention definitions, but ususally the latter.

Variants

White Nationalism

White Nationalism is a form of racial nationalism which considers the "white race" to be a nation (or able to form one) that should seek self-determination and/or unity. White Nationalism is often, but not always, combined with White Supremacism, which has led to the term being almost used synonymously although that is not inherently the case.


White Nationalism is often a component of the Pan-European Nationalism of nationalists and fascists, as contrasted by the liberal European Federalism. While most such European White Nationalists disregard ethnic differences in favour of seeing a united white race dominate Europe, others, such as the Indentitarian movement and its ideological influence Nouvelle Droite/GRECE have developed Ethnopluralism, which in this context represents the idea that within a white pan-European state, ethnicities should still stay separate in designated homelands, similarly to Apartheid.


Despite Europe being the home continent of the "white race", most White Nationalists are resident in the Americas, primarily the United States. These White Nationalists come from a wide range of ideologies, while some want to return to segregation in the US, others want to cleanse the the country in order to create a white state or create a separate white homeland through separatism (such as the Northwest Territorial Imperative). Some White Nationalists in the USA even advocate for a Pan-European Nationalism, primary out of the lacking capacity to understand Europe and its diverse relations as well as history while feeling connected to it through merely their skin color despite not actually knowing anything about it.

Most White Nationalists in the USA are considered to be part of the Alt-Right.


White Nationalism has significant overlap with neo-Nazism due to its common association with White Supremacism.

Black Nationalism

Black Nationalism is a variant of racial nationalism that seeks to unite all sub-Saharan Africans and diaspora sub-Saharan Africans. Black Nationalism is usually influenced by Marxism-Leninism or Marxism-Leninism-Maoism.

Amerindian Nationalism

Main article: Indigenism

Amerindian Nationalism is a variant of racial nationalism that seeks to unite native tribes in the Americas, or more often, just the tribes of a specific American country.

Personality

Racial Nationalism hates foreigners and race-mixing, and is really similar to Alt-Right in a lot of ways. Racial Nationalism doesn't care about ethnicity, only race.
