Austromarxism is a reformist offshoot of Marxism originating in inter-war Austria. It sought to integrate the ideas of Social Democracy with the more revolutionary forms of Socialism
Ideology
Theory of Nationality
Austromarxism believes that class consciousness is best achieved through a shared national identity, as the capitalist tendency of "spatial planning" results in it being imperialist and/or globalist. Thus, the strong promotion of sovereignty will allow the workers of a nation to unite unaffected by capitalistic powers.
