He supports a mixed economic model similar to that of the Norwegian or British economy.- When it comes to Healthcare, he believes in tax funded insurance system, and good quality universal health care.
He sees progressive taxation as the most fair form of taxation (top rate at 10% for personal taxes, and top 20% for corporations).
Cultural 
Unlike most modern progressives, He believes that the essential differences between women and men should be highlighted, not suppressed. He supports the elimination of wage discrimination for women, while also rejecting the traditional roles associated with the two sexes.

Since he has experienced a large influence from the West (especially from the
