Bucketism is an economically independent and culturally centre-right ideology that advocates a welfare state that, however, also provides progressive business subsidies to fuel competition and pro-consumer growth. Unlike the socialist model of interventionism, bucketism relies on tax cuts, subsidies and negative taxes, rather than regular taxation, so as not to drive away investment. Bucketism is culturally conservative, but with progressive views on abortion, LGBTQ+ rights and contraception, although it condemns the movements that represent them.
