Finn Grünerbaum is a North German diplomat and the current ambassador to Niger. Grünerbaum has always been known for his love for all things Africa, particularly West Africa; this lead him to live in Togo, Senegal, Niger, and Nigeria for a total of 30 years throughout his life, conducting mostly research through interacting with the locals.
