Self Insert
"People can really believe anything these days!" - Ismism

This page is meant to represent Ledu's political views. Please do not make any major edits without their permission.

Iktaism is the self-insert ideology of User:Ledu. This page is supposed to outline my views to the best of my ability.

Nature, and thus the nation and human nature, are at the core of my political beliefs.

Fundamental Tenets

  • Respect and preservation of all nature, including human nature.
  • National self-determination and absolute independence.
  • Collective ownership over the all the daily economy through national solidarity.
  • Abolishment of unnecessary and harmful 'progress', including technologies.

Views

Economics

The economy is to be reconstructed from the ground up into a system of national solidarity, mutual aid, and decentral planning; in which the means of production are held in common through the state, family, collective, and workers.

The solidarity system of mutual aid, with the assistance of the state and locality, is to be developed to a point where money is made obsolete and de facto abolished in ordinary life situations.

État

The nation, as the sole natural and legitimate basis for political power, must be congruent with the state. The state is the embodiment of the national will which is in fully reflected by the apparatus through the means of collective consciousness and democracy.

The state is the guard of the nation, the protector of it and its interests; it controls the monopoly on violence, technology, and economy.

The decisions of the state are guided by popular democracy within the framework of a constitution which safeguards the nation.

Culture

The traditional homogeneous culture of the land is practiced in the village collective while non-harmful social progress is embraced.

Technology

The state is the arbiter and holder of technology, it controls all that is needed for the defense and welfare of the nation but are of no positive use to the people thereof.

Diplomacy

The sole diplomatic responsibility of the state is self-preservation and national welfare which does not come at the expense of other nations.

The state is to trade its industrially produced, and excess, consumer goods with the outside world as a means of profit.

The state should promote the ideals of national self-determination on the international stage as long as it does not take damage from doing so.

Very good ideologies that I can agree with.

Ideologies that are mostly good, but still have a lot of bad.

Ideologies that have some good and some bad.

  • Baxism (///) — I don't understand many of your views, particularly those philosophical, but I can clearly tell that there should be plenty we could agree on. Especially in regards to universal nationalism, I think, even if I am confused at your nuanced view of nationhood. I also must comment that I love the aesthetics of your page.

Ideologies that are bad, but not the worst on earth.

Very terrible ideologies that are evil and anti-human.

  • Romantic Egoism (///) — There is not enough text for a accurate evaluation, but from the influences and the little written I do see this seems like evil and anti-human egoism.

Notes

  1. "Reactionary Socialism" refers to an economic system, not a reaction in the classical sense.
  2. "Reactionary Socialism" is, in some interpretations, the closest to my economic views, but I'm not per se 'influenced' by it in technically. Please read the body.
