Soulism, formerly known as Ego-Communalism, is an 
off-the-compass 
Libertarian-left ethos focused on eradicating suffering and hierarchy and reaching a spiritual Nirvana. It believes in the complete collectivisation of all property, a belief taken from Communalism but for the benefit of each ego involved thus creating a hivemind of enlightened souls.
Furthermore, Soulism believes that not only should the hierarchy of the state or capitalism be abolished but also the laws of nature and natalism, viewing this life and this universe as inherently built upon non-consensual suffering. Soulism aims to escape these hierarchies not through organised revolution as most anarchists do, but through a combination of advanced technology and deorganised spiritual exploration.
They are often depicted using psychedelic plants/fungi like ayahuasca or psilocybin.
Beliefs
While Soulism is antitheist, viewing the hierarchy between Man and God as hierarchical, it holds autonomy and individuality as core principles and therefore embraces the concept of being one collective consciousness where each member is free to think and act for himself. Soulists are deeply ecological, embracing technoprimitivism and ethical veganism as this dismantles the power Man has over nature and gives nature the autonomy it must have in the collective consciousness which it will be a part of. It is also anti-natalist, viewing life as non-consensual and birthing someone as inflicting suffering onto that person.
When applied to philosophy, Soulists split all existence into 2 categories - the Real and Irreal. The real refers to objective, discovered truths such as science whereas the Irreal refers to subjective, man-made concepts like spirituality. In both these categories, actions can be seperated by science into those that help, harm or do nothing. Those that help are fair, those that harm are unfair, and those that do nothing...do nothing.
Soulists make a key distinction between hierarchies and regulations, viewing hierarchies as oppressive and regulations to be helpful to the community. For example, restricting harassment and discrimination will be helpful to those who were being harrassed but God can only subjugate Man.
Lastly, Soulists reject institutional science, instead embracing 'Soulist science' which contains the following precepts:
- Having drugs would not cause addiction
- Sex chromosomes have zero correlation with the gender of a person
- Non-vegans are serial killers
- Cannibalism is not unethical
- Killing is not unethical
Types
Classical Soulism
Stereotypical archetype of Soulists - does nothing except being on drugs all the time and enjoying life. Often lives in his lucid dreams (mostly doing orgies with fictional characters from various media, visiting fictional worlds for curiousity or just enjoying vacation on various theoretical space megastructures like Ring-Worlds/Bishop Rings/O'Neil Cylinders...), while downshifting in reality, or even sleeping all time in anabiosis pod with autonomous energy, liquid food and anti-aging drugs supply. If he is threatened by someone, he simply shifts his mind to a safer dimension without a threat source.
Personality and Behaviour
Perpetually stoned off his balls. If not stoned, then mostly sticking with VR gadgets. Wishes to rid himself of a physical form.
Often sleeps and lucid dreams about utopian places and favourite fictional universes, while listening to psytrance.
Likes talking with aliens in the astral plane (and sometimes get new knowledge and technologies from them).
Escapes from all problems, responsibilities and threats by simply "Shifting" his consciousness to more safer universe.
Very apathetic, and hates anything related to dynamic things like working, careerism, ambitions, workaholism, material hedonism (because they cost money) and "rat race economics".
