The Norwegian Revolutionary Front (NRF) was a prominent political and military organization that played a pivotal role in the Norwegian Revolution and the wider civil war that ensued. Formed in response to societal grievances and political unrest, the NRF emerged as the leading force representing anarchist ideals and advocating for radical social change in Norway.
The NRF was founded by a coalition of revolutionary leaders, including Eira Nordahl, Iefan Alstūd, and Bjorn Haldorsson, who sought to dismantle the existing power structures and establish a society based on principles of direct democracy, communal ownership, and Norse paganism.
The NRF has been accused of mass amounts of war crimes during the Norwegian Revolution, mostly revolving around the Jewish population of Norway-Sweden and in their occupied territory, though it denies that the crimes had any angle to them other than them being loyalists to the United Kingdoms of Sweden-Norway.
The NRF was dissolved after their victory in the civil war, being reorganized into the RevolutionaryParty of Norway, the faction that currently holds the most support in Norway-Sweden, and has since the end of the civil war.
