Background
After the Turkish election in 2023, where Recep Tayyip Erdogan would manage to beat his opponent, Kemal Kilicdaroglu, in an election most consider to be free but not fair. This is because of the very Pro-Erdogan bias seen in the Turkish media, which has made sure that the opponents just don't have enough screen time and do not have enough time to say their points and ideas to the average folk.
This election would prove to be the last of a democratic Turkey, as Erdogan would begin arresting major political figures of the left (such as in the HDP and Nation Alliance parties) and would essentially turn Turkey into a literal one-party state, with there only being satellite/puppet parties, who, despite having "different" ideologies are just actual puppets of Erdogan.
Despite protests and calls from European politicians, action was not taken to address the radicalization of Erdogan, as the world was in a state of collapse, with countries such as Germany/USA having collapsed in the mid to late 2020s. The only moment where action would be taken would be when Erdogan would completely pivot the CSTO, resulting in an invasion from the remnants of NATO and the Eastern Roman Republic.
