Syncretic Liberalism, also called Syncretism or Big Tentball, is a Third Way ideology seeking to combine elements from across the conventional left-right spectrum, with the goal of reconciliation. Various examples of this exist, such as  Falangism, Peronism, Third Way, Strasserism, Futurism, National Bolshevism, Poporanism, Social Credit and Saadehism, but SyncLib is more moderate than these, preferring instead to take ideas from ideologies closer to the center (such as  Social Democracy and Moderate Conservatism). Unlike pragmatist ideologies ( Radical Centrism) who seek to borrow ideas from the left and right and merging them into one pragmatic system, SyncLib prefers to achieve a neutral stance between the moderate left and right opinions by taking said opinions into consideration and coming up with a solution that pleases both sides of the issue.

Personality and behaviour

Syncretic Liberalism main goal is to please everyone through his actions. He is reviled by extremists, but many liberals prefer to support him as he usually comes out on top with his ideas, as they cause the least political disturbance among the libs. He likes to preach about the perks of the big tent, and can sometimes be seen trying to invite other ideologies into his tent. He also loves going out camping.

Stylistic Notes

Syncretic Liberalism is always seen under a tent, which follows him around wherever he goes. The tent does not need supports to stand up, and can be as big as SyncLib wants it to be. Inside the tent, there are many amenities for the ideologies within it, like food and bathrooms.

How to Draw

Drawing SyncLib is quite simple:

  1. Draw a ball.
  2. Color it paynes grey.
  3. Draw a white liberalism symbol (a circle and 5 white lines going through to about halfway, all coming from the bottom left of the circle, the same color as the ball's body).
  4. Add eyes and color them light cyan.
  5. Draw a tent outline with phthalo blue, first drawing the top of the tent and then the bottom.
  6. Color the top of the tent with Saint Patrick blue.
  7. Color the inside of the tent Oxford blue.
  8. Done!
