"The state is undesirable for me, statists would say that they defend the state because it protects them from criminals, for me there is no difference between state violence and criminal violence." - Yes, I argued that in the section on the state? We do not disagree.


"I am opposed to all oppressive relations, and statist ones are always oppressive." - Then it is inherently 'evil' and not nothing. It really does depend on how we define a state; if it is always a sacred relation to a hierarchical and oppressive institution, then yes, but that is assuming our own conclusion.


"If we idealise a utopia, why is the state even needed?" - My point was expressly to show that even the 'best' and most utopian ideal state is not suitable for me, thus showing that anything less (including any current, historical, or idealised state is even worse. You clearly took it as 'I want this state now' which was not the purpose.
