I take from his position that we live in the "Kali Yuga", an age of chaos, decadence and collapse. I simply view communism as one of the potential culminations of this age. Modes of production/societies are cyclical, and we exist at the end of one(capitalism) and the beginning of the next(either hyper-commodified AI-managed technocapitalism or decadent, surreal communism. Either one is the end of time as we know it.)
