Community:Polcompball Standard English

Polcompball Standard English ("PCBSE", "PSE" for short, or "Polcompbian") is a dialect of English that is used in the Polcompball community, with it's own unique grammar and vocabulary from standard English.

Grammar

Polcompbian typically uses the same grammatical system as both Standard American English and African American Vernacular English as well as borrowing from Soyjak.party's "Soyspeak"

Punctuation

Polcompbian often drops punctuation or uses them incorrectly whenever it sounds it doesn't belong there when spoken.

Arrow

One unique system Polcompbian uses for punctuation is the use of the right facing arrow ">". Generally used to quote an individual, similar to it’s usage in soyjak.party.

Mutation

Another thing is Mutation where letters in words or even punctuation is replaced. Originating from Soyjak.party, it is used for statements that are ironic, post-ironic, or meta-ironic in nature such as replacing the letter "U" is replaced with the letter "V", the full-stop "." is replaced with the comma ",", "C" and "K" replaced with a triple K "KKK", the letter "S" with "Z", the letter "W" with two Vs "VV" and so on.

Talks

"[User]_Talk" or ":[User]_Talk]" is a punctuation used when what someone said makes them look like another specific user, popularised as "Jonah_Talk" on the beryist and jonahist societies. Modern examples include :DECB_Talk:, :Mish_Talk:, and on Artel, :MNN_Talk:. May also be used for various political figures, such as :Trotsky_Talk:.

Though

Though is a non-comparable adverb used at the end of every sentence as a conjunctive, similar to the English word however; as an intesifier, similar to the English word indeed; and generally as a word to mark the end of a sentence, similar to the interlingual full-stop or (more loosely) to the Japanese word desu.

Forms include "tho", "doe", and synonyms "however", "albeit", "moreover", "thoughever", "howeverbeit", "thoughbeit" etc.

Apostrophisation

Apostrophisation, also known as contraction is another part of Polcompbian grammar. Originally coming from the imageboard "Soyjak.party", it refers to the dropping of the first syllable from a word and its replacement by an apostrophe. However, this process is incredibly complex due to its patchwork of exceptions and counter-exceptions. Words that are less than three characters long such as "I", "do", and "a" are never apostrophised for the sake of readability. Additionally, when a word could be confused for another after apostrophisation, the standard operation is to leave the word entirely intact. The exact practice for each word depends on the speaker.

Pronouns

Along with the traditional "He/Him", "She/Her", "They/Them", and so on, Polcompbian can also have the first consonant of the letter of traditional english pronouns replaced with x, for example, he becomes xe, sir become xir. Double consonants are also replaced with x with the exception for xhe, to avoid confusion with xe, for example, they becomes xey.

Polcompbian also borrows a lot of words and phrases from Soyjak.Party as well as the local languages that users speak such as Polish.

• Arteloid - Member of the Artel Gang, who are neutral on the FPCB/PCB debate. Arteloid is often used to denote market socialists, or people who are aggressively neutral towards PCB and FPCB.
• Award - When someone says something so stupid that you have to give them an award for being so (e.g. "Posted it again Award", "Stupid shopper award"). Soyjak.party origin

• Bolas - polcompballs and/or testicles, vagueness about which it means is the whole point of the word, Luis origin.
• Brimstone - A worse version or coal, soyjak.party origin.

C

• Coal - Term used to show disapproval for something, soyjak.party origin.

D

• Disguiser - someone who impersonates another, Luis origin.
• Dony - Involuntary nickname of Darkeggbowser. Originated from a frenzied misspelling of his when replying "NO DONT" to someone on discord.

E

• Edelexian - Relates to either the user Edelex, or (usually) the user Galaxy. Often used to make fun of their personalities and (for Galaxy) ideology shopping.

F

• False prints - fake pictures, Luis origin.
• Favela - The Brazilian version of a ghetto, used to make fun of Luis’s residence.

G

• Gem - Term used to show Approval of something, soyjak.party origin.
• Gemerald - A better version of gem, soyjak.party origin.

H

• Hydra, Hydrareich, Hydraocracy, Hydraist Society - A place, person, community or geographical area which has a favorable view of or practices pedophilia. In reference to PCB user "Hydra", whom was caught advocating for pedophilia, and later caught grooming a girl.

K

• KK - Shorthand of infamous user Killer Kitty. Well known for his Alt accounts.

L

• Lie - Massively repeated phrase with its original meaning, often used sarcastically, Luis origin.
• Latinx (Mainstream Variant) - This word was formerly by SJWs for being inclussive with Latin American people, but recently, the word turned into a ethnical slur against Latinos, since, instead of making them feeling accepted, this term is annoying and disrespectul according to them.
• Latinx (Local Variant) - satirical slur used mainly on Discord in response to the chauvinistic and xenophobic comments of the former FPCB user NeoxTheMonarchic, for example, when he used to refer to British as inferior and Spaniards as superior,and then he was responded to with "Latinx." stating jokingly that the Spaniards are also Latin Americans. (you have the meaning of Latinx above).

M

• Montage - edited picture, Luis origin.
• Mugi - nickname for "MugiKotobuki8814", a old user known for being a weeb neo-nazi and for sympathizing with mass shooters. Sub group of Hydra.

N

• Negative IQ - someone who acts without thinking, or simply a retard, Bax origin.
• Nermal - Nickname of Nurisk, originates from when Borker pointed out that Nurisk’s username reminded him of the character Nermal from Garfield.

O

• Opps wiki - the other PCB and/or PCBA.

P

• Prints - Pictures, Luis origin. "Those are fake prints"
• Plap - to have sexual activity (term in disuse) "I want to plap this creature"
• ’p - Pornography, often of the child type, soyjak.party origin.
• Pai Pai - A casual way of saying goodbye, often used by Nurisk. It draws from a scene in "Azumanga Daioh" where the character Osaka bids farewell with "Bye bye" which sounds distinctly like "Pai pai", to Yukari.

R

• Reactionary Fascism - Is used to roast the former FPCB user NeoxTheMonarchic, making a reference to his lack of knowledge about policies.

S

• Shameless sodomite - femboy / any member of the lgbtq+ / galaxy, Luis origin.
• Starboardization - To add the starboard function to a server, used in the RC propaganda song.
• Shopper - Someone who switches ideology very often and seemingly on a whim.

T

• ’tage - Shortened version of montage.
• Torthodox - Orthodox Christian, Luis origin(?).

W

• Wegiel - Coal in Pomorskitong
• Whoa - Term used to mock the former PCB user Leninisbased, known for responding “whoa” to a gif of two fish having sex (which is often represented with 🐟❤️🐟) and his poor handling of being made fun of it.
• Whoacel - Refers to Leninisbased, see above.

X

• X-Less Hour - A way to rally/call for the muting of a user on the FPCB server, with X being replaced with their username, most commonly used for Donyless hour and Volkerless hour advocation.
• X-ism - Used to poke fun at user’s personalities/ideologies, with X being replaced with that user’s username. For example, an image of someone having sexual thoughts about Skibidi Toilet would have the caption “Mishism”. Sometimes, this is substituted directly with the user’s self-insert name.

Z

• Žemeral - Mix of Žem and Gemerald, the General channel of the FPCB Discord uses this word as the name- origins in "Gem" and "Gemerald"

Other

• 85+% - The term "85+%" is used to say that approximately 85% of the population is not be suited and/or willing to participate in governmental decision-making. This perspective posits that each profession has its own specific domain of expertise, and it is impractical to expect the entire population to engage in bureaucratic roles and so know what is best for the state.
