Bioregionalism is an ideology, that believes certain communities in their region, climate flora, fauna and environment affects how people act in their community and in their environment. Therefore it is environmentalist so we can better the human condition in these places. It is against ideas like capitalism and other homogeneous economies due to lack of concern for the environment. Bioregionalism is NOT for the idea of free markets, EVEN IF they follow economic regulations, as they think free markets are inherently harmful to the environment.

History

The history of bioregionalism beings in the 60's when Peter Berg advocated for it. Although the term wasn't coined until the the 70's by Allen Van Newkirk, it was still an ideology just without a name. Peter advocated for a system where certain bioregions (Environments), were separated by others because certain bioregions affect how people act and thus it would be better for people in the certain bioregions to be separated from others. Bioregionalist activism is mostly seen now in Cascadia (bioregion) in where the Doug flag is implemented.

Northwest Territorial Imperative

Northwest Territorial Imperative is based on the thoughts of American political figure Harold Armstead Covington.

He was born in Burlington, Alamance, North Carolina, United States of America on September 14th 1953 to father named Forrest McAllister Covington along with a French mother named Frances Anne Covington (Née Glass) while being the eldest of three children but then in 1968, he was sent to Chapel Hill High School and in 1971, he graduated from high school to join the "United States Army" (USA) during the Vietnam War (1955-1975) as private first class before joining the "National Socialist White People's Party" (NSWPP) lead by Matthias Koehl Jr. during that same year.

In December 1973, Harold Covington moved to South Africa after being discharged from the "United States Army" (USA) before moving into Rhodesia during the Rhodesian Bush War (1964-1979) in which he was a founding member of the "Rhodesian White People's Party" (RWPP) lead by Ken Rodger while later claimed to have served in the "Rhodesian Army" until he was deported due to his Racist beliefs particularly due to his threatening letters to the Jewish community but then in 1977, he becomes leader of the "National Socialist Party of America" (NSPA) after Frank Collin and in May 14th 1980, he lost a primary election for the Republican nomination for candidates for being a attorney general of North Carolina.

In 1981, Harold Covington alleged that would be Ronald Regan's assassin John Hinckley Jr. who had formerly been a secret member of the "National Socialist Party of America" (NSPA) formerly lead by Frank Collin while law enforcement authorities were never able to corroborate this claim even it suggested the alleged connection may have been fabricated for publicity purposes but then in 1992, he moved to the United Kingdom for several years where he made contact with British Far-Right groups and was involved in setting up the Neo-Nazi terrorist organisation called "Combat 18" (C18) lead by David Myatt.

From 1970s to 1980s, Harold Covington have developed a White Separatist idea that has been popularized called the Northwest Territorial Imperative a region located in the Northwestern United States of America to create an Aryan ethnostate that is similar to Cascadia while it includes Washington, Oregon, Idaho and even Western Montana but then the plan has also included Wyoming, Northern California and the whole of Montana and several reasons have been given as to why certain Activists have chosen to turn this area into a future white homeland because it is farther removed from Black, Jewish and other minority locations than other areas of the country as it is geographically remote that is making harder for the federal government to uproot Activists even its wide open spaces appeal to those who believe in the right to hunt or fish without any government regulations along with giving them access to seaports back with the territory of Canada.

The Northwest Territorial Imperative have been influenced by the Oregon Black Exclusion laws of 1844 as an attempt to expel all African Americans from the state that are cited as an early example of such a Racist project in the region while White Supremacist Journalist Derek Stenzel who is a Portland-based editor of "Northwestern Initiative" emphasized that the 1859 Constitution of Oregon explicitly stated that "No free N*gro, Mulatto or Chinaman could reside, vote, hold contract or make business in the state." but in his view he stated the Northwest Imperative project would be in line with the high Racist ideals of the original settlers and the formation of such a White homeland involves the expulsion that euphemized as the repatriation of all non-Whites from the territory.

The Northwest Territorial Imperative project is variously called "Northwest Imperative", "White American Bastion", "White Aryan Republic", "White Aryan Bastion", "White Christian Republic" and the "10% solution" by its promoters while the main supporters were White Supremacist leaders along with their groups such as Robert E. Miles, "The Order" lead by Robert Jay Mathews, the "Aryan Nations" lead by Richard Butler and the "Klu Klux Klan" (KKK) lead by Imperial Wizard Robert Shelton but then territory which is proposed overlaps with the territory of the "Cascadia Independence Movement" lead by Peter Berg as the two movements share similar flags even they have no ties to each other and Cascadian independence Activists overwhelmingly reject the White Supremacist ideology of the movement lead by Harold Covington.

In 1994, Harold Covington started an organization called the "National Socialist White People's Party" (NSWPP) using the same name of the successor to the "American Nazi Party" (ANP) former lead by George Lincoln Rockwell under Matthias Koehl Jr. while in 1996, he launched a website using the pseudonym Winston Smith taken from the novel "Nineteen Eighty-Four" by George Orwell becoming one of the first Neo-Nazi presences on the internet to disseminate Holocaust-denial material but then in 2005, he maintained a political blog titled "Thoughtcrime" and as a fiction writer author he wrote five occult-themed novels known as the "Northwest Independence Novels" such as "A Distant Thunder", "A Mighty Fortress", "The Hill of the Ravens", "The Brigade" and "Freedom's Sons".

In June 2015, Harold Covington was mentioned in the media in connection with the Charleston Church shooting in South Carolina that the perpetrator Dylann Roof discussed the Northwest Territorial Imperative in his manifesto was critical of its means along with the objectives while according to Covington stated the shooting was a preview of coming attractions but then believed it was a bad idea for his followers to engage in random acts of violence instead supporting organized revolution and in July 14th 2018, he died in Bremerton, Kitsap, Washington due to natural causes.

Beliefs

Bioregionalism believes that people are shaped by their environment, and that we should let people in their certain bioregion flourish. To flour they say a couple of changes (a lot) need to be made in these bioregions, Like the abolition of markets and economies that put profit over the environment or more polices in these bioregions to help the environment. The environments are different so usually different polices are implemented. Bioregionalists see humanity and its culture as part of nature, focusing on building a positive and sustainable relationship with the environment. Bioregionalism can also expand to Biogeographic realms that look at continents environment and their geography make up. Bioregionalism also advocates encourage the cultivation of native plants of the region, encourage the use of local materials where possible and ensure that political boundaries match ecological boundaries.

Personality

Bioregionalism is very concerned about the environment. Therefore he usually yells and screams at balls that don't have much concern for the environment. He doesn't like when other environmentalists treat humans and their culture as an enemy of nature.
