Esoteric Autism is the ideology of most "autism" subreddits on popular websites like Reddit and Tumblr. Esoteric Autism is very cult-like, as autism groups online fit the criteria for a cult (Victims of "autism" groups feel like they are not able to succeed by themselves, the beliefs are usually very radical, most victims are isolated from society, online groups are completely centered around the idea of being some sort of elite class, alternative beliefs are usually censored)
Often times, the people that are victims of Esoteric Autism do not actually have any mental condition, and are the thing they claim to despise (neurotypical). However, many people who are involved in autism subreddits can actually develop mental conditions due to them becoming depressed and feeling they are cursed and that life is meaningless.
Ironically, Esoteric Autism drowns the struggles of people who actually suffer from autism, as most people who actually have autism need heavy assistance in everyday life, and would not be able to socialize with other people on the internet.
Personality
Esoteric Autism is extremely narcissistic and self-centered, and believes minor struggles they face in every day life mean they fit the criteria for a severe mental condition. At the same time, Esoteric Autism has a nihilist worldview, and believes life has no hope and no meaning.
