National Maoists Shiism or "NMS" or Islamic Maoism- this is a type of Maoist ideology that was common among members of the rebel movement "AMIM" or Afghani Maoist Islamic Movement. National Maoists Shiism can be identified as economically far-left, totalitarian, and Culturally far-right ideology.
History
On April 27, 1978, military officers loyal to the PDPA launched an uprising on the orders of Hafizullah Amin in what would become known as the Saur Revolution. Despite bringing the Communist into power, many smaller socialist groups rejected the Khalqists' rule for various reasons
It was highly critical of the Soviet–Afghan War and actively fought against what it considered social imperialism acting as a united front with the Mujahideen movement until 1980, when the group disbanded.
