Fictional Ideology
"This was made in the context of fiction, and it would make no sense in the real world." - Daniel Günther Thought

Osnorlandianism is the ideological thought of the "anarchic" (de facto statist) Dominion of Osnorland and its organiser Oscar III of Osnor-Gettlesberg.

Economy

Currency

The currency of Osnorland is the Osnor franc, with the average income being 51,059 Osnor francs (₣).

Economic Model

The current economic model of the Dominion of Osnorland is based heavily off of the Platengradien School to Economics. It believes in government-sponsored trust-busting to create a fairer market and promote competition, extreme protection of economic liberties e.g. freedom of contract/agreement as well as freedom from interference on your private property.
There is an exception to this economic model though, in the Platengrad Enterprise Zone, where there is heavy deregulation, other than a social contract.

State

The Dominion of Osnorland is the domain of the House of Osnor-Gettlesberg, currently led by Oscar III of Osnor-Gettlesberg, with the heir apparent being Prince Oscar since his elevation to Prince of Lower Gettlesberg, the title which has been awarded to heirs throughout Osnorland tradition. The monarch of Osnorland holds all power over the state (acting as both the head of state and head of government, controlling the judiciary, executive and legislature), though often hires advisors to act in their place in certain areas, the most wideknown and influential advisor being Erick of Platengrad (after he was awarded the title Baron of Platengrad.), a strong supporter of social capitalist policies, sometimes known as the Architect of the Modern Osnorlandianism System. His influence makes him a de facto Prime Minister, with him even choosing advisors for the King in his stead, as part of the Platengradien School of Thought.

Religion

Osnorland is not a very religious country, with 56% of the country being irreligious. It does have a minority religion called Serapism though which is believed in by around 32% of the population (leaving 12% of people divided between other, unimportant faiths.) Serapism worships Serap, a Deity of Nature, Intellect and Harmony. The nature-focused approach of Serapism can lead it to conflict with some of the administrations more technological and industrial-oriented views. Despite this, Serapism is a recognized faith in the country and there are multiple advisors who follow it.

Platengradien School

Advisors

The Platengradien School, when it comes to the selection of advisors, suggests prioritising people from scientific fields, as well as an end to the advisor nepotism seen in the reign of Oscar I as well as earlier parts of the reign of Oscar II, which led to the previous economic decline.

Opposition

The biggest opposition to the Platengradien School is the Serrenomics Programme founded by Liora Serren, an influential business leader who was inspired by the progress seen in the Platengrad Enterprise Zone as well as some extremely moderate (now former) members of the mostly radical Meidner Club.

Meidner Club

The Meidner Club is a group of young economics and philosphy enjoyers which started as a small meetup but has since expanded. It has two areas - a heavily populated moderate faction and the inner group, with the latter consisting of the elders of the club (original founders ranging from 28-35 years old). Some of their most moderate members (e.g. Elara Andersson) influenced the creation of Liora Serren's Serrenomic thought, leading them to get expelled.
