Maciej Poterek was the Minister of Economy in the Polish Social Nationalist Republic between 2030 to 2040. He assumed office in November 2030 after winning the election with a majority vote of 58%. However, the electoral process attracted criticism due to allegations that Poterek's campaign received partial financing from the Kultokrat. Notably, Poterek played a pivotal role in the development of the Metro-bus cooperation system in collaboration with the Kultokrat as well as Polish economic stability during the eastern crisis. In the 2040 Polish Minister of Economy elections he got 43% of the vote, losing to Artur Nawrocki.
Known for his cautious and guarded demeanor, Poterek maintains a private personal life, opting to keep it separate from public scrutiny. Although limited information is available, it is understood that he has a spouse and children. Poterek's inclination towards privacy reflects his preference for maintaining a certain level of personal security and discretion in his role as Minister of Economy.
He is recognized for his diligent work ethic and pragmatic approach in his endeavors. While his specific ideological stance remains relatively undisclosed, it is generally acknowledged that he identifies himself as a conservative and a nationalist. However, he has not extensively expounded upon these beliefs, opting to maintain a more reserved stance on the matter.
