History
After the collapse of the united states, the territory of Nebraska remained dormant. Although Montana's incursions south had resulted in some exploration of the nearby area, it was overall insufficient. It was only when an American remnant militia attempted to establish control of the area that it's ownership was revealed: The Cheyenne reservation in Oklahoma had worked with the fleeing north Dakota reservation to reunite, and under the command of an Anglo-Irish Immigrant, went on to win the battle of the Cheyenne river against the remnant militias, declaring the confederation of Nebraska, spanning from all unoccupied territory west of the Missouri river.
