The icy wilderness of Greenland, long nearly unsettled, has attracted the attention of a religious community from Europe: The Church of the Great Old Ones. They are a relatively young religion, founded on H. P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu mythos. Official Church doctrine sais that while Lovecraft himself might have thought he had written fiction, he was dictated his texts by the Great Old Ones in his dreams. The believers preach to the Great Old Ones two times a day, take hard psychedelic drugs to connect themselves to their gods, manufacture chemical and biological weapons (The biggest industry of the state), and farm the lands of southern Greenland. Compulsory military service is in action in Eastern Greenland, though the subjects can choose civil service instead if they want. The indigenous groups of Greenland are protected and respected by the church, but all other nationalities or religious groups are openly antagonized by it.

The Theocratic State of Eastern Greenland is politically Center-Authoritarian, Environmentalist, anti-technological progress, but mostly pro-cultural progress. They have generally moved on from Lovecraft's racist beliefs, as they believe they don't follow from the belief in humanity as a random error in the process of nature. They have also claimed all of Greenland as protected territory, to protect the environment from drilling operations and the like, although Greater Illinois claimed that they have resumed their drilling operations in Greenland right under the Churche's nose.

    • Polish Social Nationalist Republic - East Greenland and Poland have signed a bilateral defense agreement, started trade relations and set up embassies. While Poland is more Conservative than East greenland and a very Catholic nation, the two states still are able to work together, and the PSNR has expressed a wish that East Greenland join the International Organizations it is already a member of, like the New Warsaw Pact. We hope that our nations can have a long and mutually beneficial relationship in the future.

    • Greater Illinois - Since the Church and Greater Illinois signed a pact of Non-Aggression, their relation is one of mutual ignorance, but with an understanding of at least temporary peace. The Church can ignore GI, as they ignore almost the whole world, to focus on their beliefs and peoples, and Greater Illinois can ignore Greenland, as it is a very irrelevant nation with little foreign influence. While the CGOO had to let go of all attempts to spread their religion into the Americas, that is a small price to pay for security from the mightiest military power in the world.

The War is over!
Rejoice, believers! The war with Indonesia has ended!
Today, on the twenty-second of October 20XX, the Indonesian Army has been defeated and made to surrender by the combined forces of Greater Illinois, Byzantium and our own brave troops. Missile launches have definitely been halted, so we can finally leave our bunkers in a few weeks.
The leaders of Greater Illinois and Indonesia are right now negotiating over the "Treaty of Jakarta". The treaty forbids Indonesia from taking military action in anything except their own island territories and the borderlands, obliges the Kaiser Emperor to take medication that keeps his more sadistic tendencies in check, and mandates the dismemberment of all Indonesian foreign espionage agencies.
As for our involvement in the war, the Greenlandian Armed Forces have shown great bravery and competence on the ground, in the air and especially in naval battles. While we have lost many brave soldiers, we have likely done our part in ending this war as early as possible.
Burial Services for all casualties of the war will be held on the next three weekends in the central Hall of Last Peace.

KRINGE Leader caught and tried for Terrorism
The Leader of the Keyboard Renegades for Intelligence, Normality, Greatness and Egalitarianism (KRINGE) has been caught in his hideout in the small and relatively new town of Vattysh Ogaath, Northern Greenland, and brought to trial for domestic terrorism, misinformation, grand heresy and treason. KRINGEs leader, named Louis Leveley, has been in hiding since he was found out to have funneled Greenlandian military intelligence to Indonesia and other foreign countries during his time in military service, and has been building an insurrectionary rebel force to overthrow the government and install a nonbeliever's tyranny.
When he was questioned on why he named his group "KRINGE", Leveley explained that he wanted to name his insurrectionary force after something found on the internet, and that he did not know the actual meaning or spelling of the word "cringe" before naming his group. How he even found people who supported his course, who supported him and what he knows because of his connection to our enemies abroad, he has refused to confess, even under th most intense of questioning.
Leveley will be sacrificed at the Nyarlathotep Altar at 10:30 next Sunday.

New Solar Panels installed near Bvaurryth Fehgt
The Science ministry has announced that an assortment of fields near the Southern Greenlandian town of Bvaurryth Fehgt has been chosen to host a great assortment of Solar Panels. Those solar panels may be extremely important to bring our country greater access to the internet. You yourself might read this paper on a mobile technical device in the future.
Science Minister Ishigami said in an interview: "Bvaurryth Fehgt has been chosen for its low population numbers and flat land, as it can provide for the engineer teams who will install the Solar Panels, and the lack of trees and mountains is very fortunate for the workings of the Panels. Our scientists have been working hard on the new technology that went into those panels, which has increased their effectiveness by at least ten percent."
The locals at Bvaurryth Fehgt have reportedly been celebrating this change, as most of them believe this project will make their town into a very relevant tech hub for our energy supply. Local bar owner Henrik Johansen has been interviewed, which you can read all about on page 11.

Polish embassy established in New R'lyeh
As you may already know, Our government has signed a Bilateral Mutual Defence Pact with the Polish Social Nationalist Republic some time ago. Today, the Polish embassy to East Greenland has finally been officially opened. The building, which was a joined project between Polish and East Greenlandian construction companies, has been lauded as a prime example of hybrid architecture, uniting the distinctly European style of practical, slick design with some Lovecraftianist eccentricities. It may well become a prime sightseeing destination for Tourists in New R'lyeh.
In more political news, this marks another major step in our government's new policy goal, to become the Great Mediator, as we now have a very official relation to a state which is very important to the whole world. Also, the Polish government has agreed to sign a trade deal with us, a treaty that may save many of our people from death, since the Polish farming sector has just been greatly expanded by their gains in the Eastern crisis. Our government has established street kitchens in many of the poorest areas of our countries, likely saving many of our poorest citizens from death by starvation.

New scientific Breakthrough in Bioluminescence
The Biological Sector of the Lyeg Scientific Compound has announced the success of their biggest project yet: The scientists have managed to create a type of Bioluminescent mushroom, unique in the world, that requires only little intake of energy through nutrition and water, and in exchange, gives off a bright light in a beautiful purple hue.
The scientist is charge of the project, Dr. Heinrich Müller, has been awarded an Impossible Medal for his scientific service to the country, and maybe even the world. He has said that he will likely go on a Holiday in the BosWash Megalopolis, where he wants to learn about ARI culture and the possibility of trade with their confederacy. Our government has already explained the intention to trade the Bioluminescent fungus with our trade partners like the PSNR, but they do not expect much revenue from this. The much more useful purpose of the fungus will lay in Project Killjoy, where it can be used as a cheap alternative to sunlight.

When the land was split in 2 east and west Canada were formed. After a long war, the two sides agreed on the 69th parallel in the peace deal. The southern part of the country is incredibly industrialized and developed being one of the most prosperous areas on the continent with a life expectancy of 88.4 years old with a population of over 24 million. the northern parts are less industrialized and more sparsely populated with a life expectancy of 79.7 with only around 800000 inhabitants and is more economically based on fishing, but the northern part was able to perfect it and be ecologically friendly it provides fish to countries across the world. The Economy is Centrally planned every 5 years. The Canadian Economy is invested in all forms of industry but with more focus of heavy and medium industries with light industry being invested upon less. The Canadian military is quiet large with a size of 2 million and a very well trained populous. the Military is divided into 7 division, land forces, Navy, Air force, National Guard, Coast guard, Anti-air defense and, rocket force as well as the 2.5 million strong paramilitary. Canada believe is strong Progressivism and created the system of "eternal march forward" and is a believer in diversity but also limits religious power. Canada is divided into 4 territories and 6 provinces and 4 city districts. The Anniversary of the creation of the Canadian people's republic is celebrated on September the 9th and is called declaration day to celebrate the official declaration of the Canadian people's republic by Chairman Mateo Richards.

Anthem: The Stars And Stripes Forever

Greater Illinois is an authoritarian, technocratic, posthumanistic, highly capitalist and ultranationalist state that spans the Great Lakes territories (Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan). It is known for its extremely advanced technology, economic development, very high standard of living...and its tendency to antagonize other states endlessly.

The state itself was born of hardship. Greater Illinois is one of the oldest states in existence, with it nominally forming during the middle of the American collapse. It was formed when a clique of the most prestigious companies in America, as well as what remained of the American academic base and Central Intelligence Agency, couped the inefficient and feeble governments that ruled the states of Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana. For the next XX years, Greater Illinois has largely lived under the radar, Reprisals in Europe aside, being pre-occupied with internal affairs. During that isolationist period, the state broke extreme ground in every facet of science and technology due to the combined wealth of the corporation and the dedication of the academic base. Whereas other states suffered, burned and collapsed, Greater Illinois was kept alive by nothing but determination, technology and hate.

Now, the time has finally come. Aligning with the Liberal Federation of America and the nigh-minarchist Montanan State, Greater Illinois is finally able to leave its mark on the world. The new superstate has been able to drop their totalitarian survival protocols for some time now, and the political situation has finally stabilized. The Christian Insurgents have been appeased, and the economy has NEVER been better. The technology we have access to today puts the Old World to shame, and we're starting to share that with our allies in Europe. The flames of hatred have cooled a little bit in the heart of Greater Illinois, for history has finally been kind to them, but a few problems still remain.

The outside world has not been too happy to see our New America. Whereas we find camaraderie with our allies in Byzantium, Lebanon, West Germany, Thailand, South Italy and Lithuania, we're also met with unholy abominations that have never been seen before! Before the collapse, it always joked that Poland would inevitably be the one to "do the funny" against Russia when those subhumans would inevitably overstep their boundary. Still, as it turns out, Poland itself is infested with Russophilic filth led by a self-obsessed neckbeard, with the rightful government under our protection in Hispaniola. Poland hasn't died yet, but it's getting close!

...and then everything changed. Despite everything, both the PSNR and Greater Illinosian representatives decided that it would be a good geopolitical and existential move to cease hostilities, and a mutually-beneficial treaty was created between the two states. What the future holds for this Pax Poloniae, nobody knows. A part of this treaty involved the shifting of the Greater Illinosian diplomatic model to something far less militaristic. For now, joining the ARI is completely voluntary for 80% of the American states, and we'll seek detente with states like Colorado, but we'll be looking for excuses to flatten Sequoyah, the Imperium of the Northwest, and Autonomous Texas in particular. All they have to do is make one...wrong...move.

The world continues to change ever more. Cultures continue to rise and fall, just like how Spengler envisioned in The Decline of the West, as do individual states, but that isn't our problem anymore. The problems of Greater Illinois minimize by the day, as a new goal has been realized in the form of the International Ascension, an initiative to increase the technology level of the planet, hopefully drowning out reaction and spiritual garbage wherever it may lie with the light of rationality.

However, roadblocks still exist, as America has not been unified yet. The ARI keeps expanding, recently accepting Southern California as a member and guaranteeing a foothold on the cherished West Coast. While Greater Illinois expresses hope for the New American Republic and the state of Colorado, a collection of utterly vile states still inhabit our lands. Nazis in the Northwest, out-of-control children in Missouri and Texas, and, worst of all, communist swine in Sequoyah, East California, Canada, and Louisiana. The NWP and 8th Internationale be damned, America will see reunification, and there is nothing the Russian Orcs or the Poles can do about that. And while the situation in Europe is improving rapidly, threats in the Dacian Confederation and the Balkan Union remain.

The situation in Asia has also, quite frankly, gone to shit. Indonesia, in a move long anticipated by our strategists, finally overstepped their boundaries, warranting a swift and brutal correction by the Last Light Coalition, but then, everything went to hell. Indonesia was left reeling, but the Chinese situation escalated into an entire Cold War (where we support Taiwan, the ROC, and Guangdong) and the Middle East has devolved into something seriously unpredictable. Lettistan is trusted, but the Arab Communes are viewed with skepticism. However, relations with Korea have improved manyfold, and positive relations with the collective inhabiting Siberia have been established as a fellow technophilic state.

However, all of these are nuisances at best. Illinois is currently in an extremely favorable position, but its worst predicament threatens to impede any actual progress; this predicament being that the past doesn't go away. The general opinion of Illinois internationally sees us cast as a sort of "boogeyman" figure, even flat-out murderers, which, while those allegations have all of the bearing in the world, Illinois seeks to change through action. Hopefully, just hopefully, the International Ascension will change that sentiment for the most part.

  • The biggest corporations in Greater Illinois are undoubtedly Lockheed Martin and Raytheon Technologies, followed by BlackRock, Amazon and Walmart.
  • After the split of the AFP, Greater Illinois has become the first state in history to have a Co-dominant Party System consisting of THREE parties; the Industrialists, the Militarists, and the Accelerationists.

For the sake of preventing needless over-complication, the old functions of the Senate and the House of Representatives are retained in order to not overstrain older bureaucratic systems. However, they are now essentially just an extension of a greater technocratic system, with senators and representatives appointed directly by the state and/or elected in "totalitarian" elections (with the state selecting candidates for the population in order to simulate the illusion of control). As such, there are a wide variety of parties which are in reality made up by experts, although as of late, the citizens have been allowed to directly vote some in at the behest of fellow GTO member states and Byzantium.

They seek to turn the Russian state into a American banana republic in the long run, bleeding the land utterly dry and rendering it economically uninhabitable. The most radical sections of this party take this goal to an even further extreme, seeking to reduce the Russian territory to a neo-feudal Hell-on-Earth, and some even extend this sympathy to China. However, both of the extreme factions are suppressed by both the more "sane" members of the party and the government.

    Greater Illinoisian relations are quite weird, being based mainly on pure pragmatism instead of pre-collapse loyalty or even if the state reciprocates the feeling.

      • Greater Illinois has, on paper, claimed the entirety of the United States as its (and later the ARI's) rightful territory, and views every single state that isn't either them or an ARI member as completely illegitimate. This sentiment is used as a Casus Belli against any state they seek to invade next, although Greater Illinois has formed friendly relations with some of the states and seeks to integrate them into the ARI peacefully.
    • International Ascension
      • Internationally, Greater Illinois seeks to raise the technology level of the entire world through unadulterated free trade and views certain ideologies like communism and anarchism as a threat to that sentiment. However, Greater Illinois believes that access to new technology will be enough to knock Capitalism right back into most of them, and if a few don't, the odds are that the ideology (or at least a few versions of it) is hardy enough to be beneficial to the world in general. Greater Illinois still maintains a large presence in Europe through the many economic organizations that it leads or is a part of. Still, as of now, no state in Europe is deemed a threat, either due to their insignificance (North Germany, the Dacian Confederation, the Balkan Union, Bavaria, etc.) or their neutrality/friendliness (the PSNR, Norway-Sweden, Finland, England, Spain, etc.).
    • The Russian Problem
      • The only state outside of American borders that Greater Illinois still exerts extreme diplomatic/economic pressure upon is the Neo-Soviet Union, which Greater Illinois completely despises due to both their communism and libertarianism and the fact that they're Russians, so they asked COMECON to have none of Illinois' 0.5% GDP "contribution" go to them in any capacity. Other than that, Greater Illinois enforces an extremely strict embargo on the Neo-Soviet Union that prevents anyone that isn't an NWP member from trading with them. The end goal of these policies is to break the new USSR in every capacity (without violating the Treaty of Chicago), keeping them powerless and irrelevant until a favorable regime change is initiated.

        Above all others, the relationship between Nesanel's Thai State and Greater Illinois is the strongest. Greater Illinois has bolstered and supported the Thai Reclamationists from the very beginning, helping them to stamp out communists and anti-Atlantic dissidents all around South Asia. In return, they share a mutual defense pact; if one state falls, they will flee to the other and begin the process anew.
      • Beryist Reich (92/100, )
        The relations between the Beryist Reich and Greater Illinois have been very strong since the beginning, due to their somewhat-aligned goals and mutual hatred of Northern Germany and especially Poland. Although the Beryist Reich is unable to export to Greater Illinois directly, Greater Illinois often gives the Beryist Reich access to advanced technology and their God's Eye system, and it is also rumored that several CIA blacksites have been re-activated there in order to "process" North German dissidents

        Greater Illinois and Quebecois relationships are a rather recent phenomenon. Being the two most technologically-advanced states in the New World, both states have cooperated with each other many times, with Quebec being one of the only states that allows Greater Illinosian companies to buy port property on the Canadian coast. This has allowed Greater Illinois to have clear access to the Old World. In other news, the trade between these two states is quite prosperous. On the other hand, Greater Illinois has lent its superior military technology to Quebec in order to curtail Communist holdouts in Central Canada.

        The Technocrats wholly expected the Lebanese to regain the Israeli territories, but they didn't expect the Lebanese to give them trade offers, especially after how the United States supported Israel pre-collapse. May be Islamophobic, but what're they planning? Lebanese world order? Never mind that, the Lebanese are quite fine. They, unlike most other states on the planet, are actually very pragmatic, just like us! Even if Whizzy has concerns about how we run things in Canada and the like, he knows when to stay out of it. The time for morals is later, but not now. We recognize that. Nevertheless, an offer to join the Bloc of Free Trade has been extended to Lebanon.

        While the Greater Illinoisian leadership finds the attempts to marry liberalistic thought and rational leadership admirable, they are not convinced that their state will be able to balance both at the same time. Nevertheless, given the distance and relatively unimportant geographic position of the state, Greater Illinois possesses no relations with Byzantium on paper, although they're open to the possibility. That was, until the Dacian Confederation manifested out of fucking nowhere. Now, due to a request from Greater Illinois' other ally, the Eastern Polish Republic, Byzantium has a choice to either accept or deny Greater Illinosian protection. And as it turns out, from the recent increase in Illinois-Byzantium relations, it succeeded. In other news, Greater Illinois has praised Byzantium's new HITECH bill. In other news, due to recent pro-Illinois political shifts, they have made the based move and have joined us in the Anti-Communist Internationale. As of late, Lockheed Martin and Raytheon Technologies are looking to sign weapons contracts with Byzantium in order to give them access to Gauss-based small arms and a few detachments of Standard Robotic Units to bolster their military. It is hoped that with these weapons, as well as backup and intel from God's Eye, Byzantium will be able to purge any threats to their state. Despite everything, with the liberalization of Greater Illinosian political systems and the mutual technological acceleration, relations have increased even further, and Greater Illinois considers Byzantium a true ally, despite their model being less than ideal. Well, it's obviously worked up until now...

        Greater Illinois views the Italians as allies and that their iteration of NATO is the one true successor to the aforementioned, fearing that another American-lead coalition would either be impossible due to discontent between some European countries or would lead to a flat-out collapse again. As such, Greater Illinois has accepted Observer Status in the GTO, but some of our more authoritarian policies prevent us from gaining full access. However, Greater Illinois sees value in sending aid to those nations in particular, and supplies technology and trade deals to members of the GTO. Recently, we've begun to liberalize more and more as the existential threats start to vanish one by one (therefore reducing the need for authoritarian systems), so time will tell if we'll be fully accepted by the new GTO. We're also allied in the First Anti-Communist Internationale.

        Greater Illinois wasn't really a fan of Hungary cooperating with the Poles. As such, we had been watching them and were gathering intel on their military and industrial capacities. However, on paper, relationships between the two states do not exist. Now, given the Polish-Illinois detente, Illinois doesn't really mind Hungary's existence, trades with them sometimes, and even supports their claims in the Balkans. Now, with the signage of formal treaties, Greater Illinois views Hungary very favorably, despite their questionable positions on ethnicity. We can make concessions, and it's not like they're Nazis or anything. Cooperation between Hungary and Greater Illinois on matters such as the Dacian problem, the Indonesia debacle and the coordination of the World Cup (despite Greater Illinois not being allowed to play due to technological enhancements) have increased relations between the two states even more.

        Although Greater Illinois views bloc politics as stupid (although necessary for more technological development) and is technically non-aligned on paper per the Treaty of Chicago, the Global Treaty Organization is the preferred option to the New Warsaw Pact still due to ideological reasons. Greater Illinois, consequentially, has full membership within the GTO while only being a part of COMECON in the NWP.

        Despite differing opinions at times, Polish Hispaniola is one of Greater Illinois' strongest allies in the New World. Greater Illinois recognizes the government-in-exile as the "preferred" Polish government, but officially recognizes both the PSNR and the Hispaniolan state, much to the dismay of the Hispaniolans. Greater Illinois, however, maintains its artificial islands and Laser Matrix. We also serve as the main arbiter between the PSNR and the Hispaniolan state.
      • Sorbia (80/100, )
        Greater Illinois views the Sorbian State as a buttress against the reactionaries in North Germany. Therefore, they express very critical support on Sorbian policy. The two states have supported each other numerous times, however, and Greater Illinois often provides Sorbia with resources that they would normally have no other means to acquire. However, Greater Illinois does not agree with how the new Sorbian state treats the [formerly] local German population, despite their mutual hatred of North Germany, and is currently trying to calm them down and perhaps convince them to accept a few Germans back, at the behest of the the European Commonwealth and to appease their allies in the Beryist Reich. In fact, a team of Illinois researchers have made a specialized field of research dedicated to uncovering why exactly Tamara "Tammy" Vlasov hates the Teutons so much. With the PSNR in good terms, Greater Illinois has begun to trade with Sorbia even more.
      • European Commonwealth (88/100, )
        The European Situation is odd, so it was a given that it would produce some rather odd states. The remnants of European sanity have retreated to the Balkans, but they're against both the right people and the wrong people. Greater Illinois is all ready to align with the European Commonwealth and has voiced both critical and uncritical support on many of their policies, but they have issues with Greater Illinois' critical support of the new Sorbian state. A hard decision between the Sorbs and the Commonwealth may be approaching, and unity may truly be impossible. What can we say? Pierogi is good!!! Either way, given the massive economic influence of Greater Illinois, it is a short-term goal in Europe to force the two states to not kill each other.

        The Korean situation is indeed very complicated. Opinion on the state there appears to change on the weekly; sometimes they're the Korean Menace; the Foil to Everything we are! And on others, they're potential allies that can be redpilled more efficiently with time. However, we will probably never take direct action against Korea, because they recognize that they don't want another confirmed and open anti-American in the Asian Theater. Illinois seeks to improve relations with Korea now that the PSNR and Illinois aren't mutually exclusive anymore.

        After the Kaiser Emperor agreed to take his pills, Indonesia has become considerably more sane and has asked Greater Illinois to help rebuild the state after Cheese happened. However, the state is currently being besieged by insane Imperial Cultists and communist terrorists, so the Illinoisian military is still quite active there to ensure that the Kaiser Emperor remains in power (and sane).

        The Technocrats within Greater Illinois were very shocked to realize that the Left-Islamist Finns voiced critical support and a desire to cooperate, given their shared enemies. Nevertheless, despite the differences in ideology, they will jump on this opportunity. However, due to radically different policies, relations have cooled down again, and now they are neutral towards each other. Greater Illinois also does not approve of the dangerous SatellaGlobe project, and has threatened many times to shoot down SatellaGlobe satellites.
      • The Anarchist Collective of Norway-Sweden (55/100, )
        On one hand, Greater Illinois admires their use of computers and other technologies to circumvent the economic downsides of their weird system, but on the other hand, many Norse friends are Illinoisian enemies. They also disapprove of space expansion, but they haven't really raised hell about that yet. Currently, the biggest point of contention is Norway-Sweden's support of the terrorist Neo-Murba movement in Indonesia right after we got the Kaiser Emperor to take pills. Other than that, the two states frequently collaborate on technological megaprojects, and Norway-Sweden has started to look at potentially buying technology from Illinois. However, due to the differences between the systems of each state, relations can't really become much better than neutrality (leaning positive).

        During most of the state's existence, Greater Illinois has ignored the EPR, since they believed that they would be inevitably crushed by the Social Nationalists. However, as they began to embrace the free market, their infrastructure grew and grew, to the point where trade relations with Greater Illinois became possible, which Illinois capitalized upon handily. However, due to their highly misplaced tenacity and suicidal tendencies and the ratification of the Treaty of Chicago, Illinois has largely withdrawn militarily from the EPR. However, to prevent total civilian death, Illinois still maintains the vital trade of food and medicine at discounted rates with the EPR, and the Laser Matrix is also kept online. Nevertheless, de facto, the EPR and Greater Illinois relationships are neutral.

        We do not mind the Colorado progressives. We'll sometimes give them more efficient environmental conservation technology as a long-term diplomatic and existential move, but they appear suspicious of Greater Illinois for obvious reasons. Hey, at least their carbon emissions are down for the time being, though.

        In light of the Indonesia situation, the two states have signed a pact of mutual ignorance. In return for the Church of the Great Old Ones ceasing operations in the New World, we've lifted the blockade on Greenland. Relations have also improved a little bit after that, as East Greenlandian volunteers made up a significant amount of the invasion force that restored sanity to Indonesia.

        If you told your average Illinosian citizen that Illinois would make peace with Poland a few years ago, he'd laugh for a long while. But, as it turns out, the situation has demanded cooperation and peace, 'lest both of our states succumb to man-made horrors beyond our comprehension (cough cough GREENLAND cough cough INDONESIA cough). This new chapter of Illinosian history will likely see Illinois as one of the only states with non-hostile relations with the PSNR and many of the remnant liberal states in Europe, broker agreements between all of them. After all, Europe at each other's throats is neither a viable trade partner nor a stable ally.

        Illinois applies the same logic to the NWP as it does to the GTO, although for ideological reasons, Illinois prefers the latter to the former. Illinois doesn't really care about NWP affairs in Europe. However, they view the admittance of anti-Illinois American states to the NWP (making it harder to drag them into the ARI) as an affront to rightful Illinoisian authority over the New World. However, Illinois also partakes in quite a lot of export trade with NWP member states, which has also expanded recently to include certain "trusted" commie states like Norway-Sweden, Lettistan, and Social China.

        From the beginning, this state in particular has always appeared to have something to say about Greater Illinois, mostly along the lines of "stolen land," "capitalist pigs," "literal fascists," yadda yadda yadda...However, Greater Illinois is concerned that they will actively let foreign agents use their territory as a base to act against Greater Illinois and its goals. Therefore, tensions are extremely high between the two, and it's highly likely that, given the opportunity, Greater Illinois can and will annex the Commune. They think of the recent mobilization efforts on their end as laughable, as they use more advanced AI models in their household appliances than the Commune has within their entire industry. In other news, the conflict has sort of evolved into a kind of arms race. Hey, as long as they promise to not allow the Poles or the Krauts to make landfall, we can call it all off right here, right now, for that was the main reason that annexation was on the table in the first place. Well, this is awkward. The information we were given was wrong! They're just soulless commies and not the OTHER kind of national traitor! We're still suspicious of them, given the fact that they're commies, but now they're basically treated like how we treat every other communist nation.

        Greater Illinois views the Nazis in the northwest as nothing but a group of backward reactionaries who attempt to stop progress at every turn. If it weren't for the proximity between the two states, Imperium's policies probably would have caused mass immigration and a demographic crisis, and it has in Montana, but that's not the case for us. Other than that, the Imperium is also the only other ultranationalist American state in the land, but that means nothing since they don't apply their ultranationalism properly. So far, they're seen as an annoyance at best since the PSNR is no longer a threat, but they're still watched.

Northern Germany sure loves to talk a big game with their unoriginal Polish-made propaganda, but Greater Illinois realizes that the decentralized, isolationist and agrarian nature of the state cripples them in ways they don't know. However, they have seen them mobilize quite quickly against expectations before during some of the Sorbia Spats, so for now, they observe their obsessive haters with a keen eye. What funny little agrarians!

        The night this state was formed, the entirety of Greater Illinois experienced a wave of collective anger. This state...is essentially the opposition to everything we stand for. Greater Illinois has welcomed plenty of the refugees from this territory with open arms, and in turn, they provided information about mass reprisals and pseudo-apartheid against the local White and Asian populations. Fearing what would happen should these lunatics gain power, Greater Illinois and the rest of the Anti-Communist Internationale have collectively decided to embargo the state to snuff it out while it's still forming and to return the land back to rightful American domination. This state is at the top of Greater Illinois' domestic hit list, and now we're basically just waiting for a Casus Belli against them.

        Considered the "public enemy number one" of Greater Illinois, the Neo-Soviets are just that; a reincarnation of the same degenerate system under a similar veneer. This sentiment against communism is further compounded by Greater Illinois' overall highly Russophobic stances as a remnant of the Cold War and the Great Collapse. Despite this, they're way too far away and militarily/technologically insignificant to bother pissing off the entire NWP over by invading outright, but since then, Greater Illinois has used its economic position in an attempt to literally force markets down the Neo-Soviet's throats via soft embargoes and cornering what industries they have remaining, in order to Yeltsin capitalism back into Russia. Despite the recent loosening of anti-communist policies, Greater Illinois is still extremely hostile towards the Neo-Soviet union because they're Russians, but for now, this sentiment only extends to an absolute refusal to trade or collaborate with them in any way. Some members of The Solution even want(ed) to enforce an extreme form of corporate statism on them, the system being deemed "Corporate Spartanism" for its sheer cruelty.

        Greater Illinois views all three anarchist collectives in the Balkans as reactionary, backward conglomerates with very little future, but the Balkan Union and the Dacian Confederation are the worst. As such, Greater Illinois has advised the NWP to drop the Balkan Union from their bloc, so Greater Illinois and Byzantium can solve the Balkan problem once and for all.

    The Liberal Federation of America or LFA for short is a nation that occupies all the Mid-Alantic States. Formed from the remnants of the United Liberal Armed Forces during the American Collapse, it declares itself as the Last True Bastion of Liberalism in the World and is pretty isolationist though there is some foreign trade. However, as the years tick by and the dream of restoring true liberalism seems to dim and time will tell if the Last Bastion of Liberalism will Hold.

After being conquered by Greater Illinois and having since been absorbed as a non-sovereign and non-voluntary member state of the #American Reunification Initiative, it is no longer sovereign to conduct its own affairs.

    Montana (ARI)

    Montana, also known as The Provincial Republic of Montana, or even Greater Montana, is the state (or enclave of Greater Illinois) occupying Montana and the territory near it. The state has a free market and a somewhat conservative culture, as well as a somewhat robust industry sector. As of 2040, they have performed numerous CRISPR and gene editing operations, including malaria/COVID-19 resistance in embryos of various species (including human ova/sperm), internal B12 production in cows/pigs, and insects for covert military operations.

    The state was formed very early on the history, when a political disturbance within the government of Montana was caused by a revolution of far-right groups and right-wing anarchists against the state's increasingly left-shifting government. The revolution was not crushed, and the government was successfully couped. Troops from the newly-formed Greater Illinois saw the de-stabilized Montana as its first territory to capture, and they battled the revolutionaries. Greater Illinois and the revolutionaries had a peace treaty, re-establishing the rule of law in the state, and forming a libertarian society as a compromise between anarchism and authoritarianism. From here and forward, the industry began to develop under the influence of Greater Illinois. Thus, this is why Montana has a similar gamut of parties to their conquerors.

    On the other hand, Cheyenne was not so lucky. The city was raided first before Helena, and Wyoming's government in Cheyenne never recovered after it was raided. The city is at this point a terrorist-infested ghetto, and the state of Wyoming is now officially a part of the Montanan State.

    The political party gamut of Montana is very similar to those of Greater Illinois, but the two greatest parties are the American Free Market Institute and Corporate Interest Party, followed by the American Accelerationist Union, American Dominion Party, and the Old Alternative Right.

    When the Greater Illinoisan superstate formed, a compromise was made, making all three states (Montana, GI, & The Liberal Federation of America) come together.

    Montana is powered mostly by hydrogen nuclear fusion. The people are making research into the triple-alpha process and quark fusion.

    • The construction of freeways and large ports has been finished off the coast of Western Canada, connecting all of the ARI (including many Communist nations in the vicinity) to the Pacific ports of the northern parts of North America. Since cargo shipment by boat is significantly cheaper than flying an equal amount of cargo by plane or spacecraft, this will be projected to cut costs for American goods in New Queensland as well as Australian goods in the ARI states.
    • David Kirtley, CEO of Helion, has made a press statement denouncing the "Truth or Trillions" movement as "perverse, primitive, and futile" yesterday on Fox News.
    • A rapid joint industrialization move has been made in New Queensland and Southern California. As the two states most similar to Montana in 2032 (just right before mass industrialization and ascension started), multiple industry sectors are slowly being upgraded at a fast rate through gradual acquisition by the few major corporate empires known to be headquartered in either Montana, the Northwestern Imperium, or Greater Illinois. Fossil fuel is slowly replaced with nuclear and quark fusion while geometric cities are being raised. Even though these megacorporate empires have at least a small presence in an estimated 90% of countries, the presences of the empires in some countries is far greater. Even some Byzantine megacorporate empires have stated their plans to make a contribution.
    • A new movement, named "Truth or Trillions", has begun to gain traction among midwestern and western Montanan residents. They claim to promote socialism and some ideas that generally contradict the narrative proposed by both the Montanan state and the trillion-dollar corporate empires headquartered here. They've been caught supporting multiple QAnon points, Holocaust distortion, and multiple conspiracy theories regarding the American Reunification Initiative, especially Montana and Greater Illinois. The movement, centered in Laurel, a major city in the Billings district, has announced that it has plans to move into Southern California, Greater Illinois, and New Queensland in an attempt to derail the industrialization and ascension processes despite not having that great of an impact on the society of Montana.
    • The border with the Northwestern Imperium has been finished and upgraded. This will help keep unwanted immigration at bay. There are also ultra-advanced border guards with weapons capable of unleashing enormous amounts of energy into targets; it is capable of heating them to hundreds of degrees Celsius at maximum output, given the target is about the size of a typical road vehicle. Even though this is rather small compared to the largest directed-energy weapons wielded by the military, it will suffice as a deterrent. These directed-energy weapons are mounted directly above all four entrance points in order to nearly instantly wipe any obvious intrusive force entering. Each entrance is powered by rapid and vigorous nuclear fusion plants that on normal uses, produce only 10% of their full power output (it will ramp up if the particle cannons are used). Large pull-up systems capable of lifting up to 20,000 kilograms per load are situated at major spots. Each entrance has a large military base at it with a continuous water supply capable of delivering over 900 liters per second (54 kL/min) at highest demand. There are also barbed wires on top, capable of delivering thousands of volts to the few who manage to climb over. The border is 502 km long, 12.5 meters high above ground, 3.5 meters deep underground, and up to 40 centimeters thick.
    • A team of refugee buses have been sent to Sequoyah in the case of a war. These buses will follow either the 40-55 route, the 70-25-90 route, or the 40-25-90 route.
    • All major Montanan corporations have withdrawn from Austria following the latest sanctions from across the ARI.
    • It has been determined that Helion has not fully acquired Shell Corps. as they are used by the Alaskan government to buy up other businesses. Many of these smaller businesses have been bought up by Tyson-Nestle and other ARI-based corporate empires. The executive teams of Helion and Shell as well as the government of Alaska will have a major meeting regarding the future of Shell at an undetermined time in the future.
    • The major corporate empires of Montana (Helion and TiCon mainly) have decided to drastically increase their presence in New Queensland and Germany. They are focusing on maximizing profit, going green, and technologically accelerating the population in the given areas. Geometrical cities, space missions, and commercialized nuclear fusion are the main things being brought to these two countries.
    • The Anthropomorphic Inclusion Organization of Montana said that it would be liquidating as the populace of Montana, specifically the people who live in the East, has expressed its growing antipathy towards the organization as a whole. The Organization was formed as a result of the numerous refugees fleeing Illinois to go to Montana as a refuge from hostility in the early 2030s. As hostility is rising in Montana, the chief executive of the organization said that it would finally be closing its doors. The executive team said the following in a press statement: "I encourage our former members to move to Western Canada, Colorado, or Europe as they are more inclusive to the furry fandom than Montana is. The ARI as a whole has become more hostile and exclusionary than it used to be to the furry fandom. We simply cannot keep going in Montana as our mission has proved to be a net negative for all of us involved."
    • Trade with Southern California has skyrocketed. Montanan megacorporations, including pre-collapse ones like SpaceX and Amazon, have made their plans to advance the region to a level or sophistication comparable to or near that of countries like Montana, Illinois, and Byzantium, although this may be somewhat harder to do than with the BosWash megalopolis. A portion of Montana's highly advanced military troops will enter the region, specifically the area near the country's border with the NWI. Those from Illinois are beginning to show interest in the region as well, but they have stated that advancement may be difficult due to the country's emphasis on religion.
    • With Madagascar split and the worm nation defeated, the original leaders has been exiled to Tuvalu. The northern section of the country was given to the PSNR while the southern portion went to both us and the Illinoisans. Tuvalu will have a close eye kept on their territory in order to ensure another worm incident like the last one never happens again. It is to be noted that this is not fully certain at this time.
    • A superhuman testing center has been constructed at the border of Devyanostopol and New Cheyenne, both of the 28th district. It uses a pulley system with a mechanical advantage of anywhere from 10-3 to 10-7 and a set of weights.
    • In response to the global intestinal worm pandemic, Montana has developed a speedy aerial delivery method capable of deploying specialized microprobes into the population. The nanites released will be small enough to not fall to the ground as they are under the influence of Brownian motion. The nanites are modified to destroy, terminate, or dissolve the worms and their eggs on contact, regardless. The nanites are an upgraded version of that initially developed in Greater Illinois. These nanites can enter through the sweat pores or alveoli, and they can enter the bloodstream that way. These nanites will either land on skin or be inhaled; it will target all animals with these two bodily microstructures as a scorched-earth attack on the worm infection. CRISPR bacteriophages are also being deployed en masse in order to eliminate cholera and supercholera.
    • Three large companies in Montana's industry, construction, and energy sectors, ThermoRoto Inc, Helion Corps, and Titanium Construction Inc., have stated that they would become active in Southern California as to make it ascend in technological advancement. A set of routes have been determined in order that I-5 is to be used as little as possible and preferably only in emergencies.
    • With further analysis, it has been speculated that the TRAPPIST-1 system formed in an environment rich in primordial oxygen and nitrogen. A set of space probes have been thrown into orbit around TRAPPIST-1e in order to help facilitate research of the planet and the life there.
    • An underwater city that has been under construction for a little while a few kilometers east of the Boston-Logan National Airport in the BosWash Megalopolis has finished construction. It serves as an underwater research center, a new eastern terminus for highway 90, and a tourism spot for local fish-watching folk.
    • The Refugee Task Force has been implemented in Sequoyah, East California, NWI, and Texas. If a war is declared on any of these states by any ARI member, non-driving civilians may use a series of thousands of high-security double-deckered articulated buses (each one capable of holding an average of 200-300 passengers) in order to be driven to refuge within ten days. Buses will have yield indicators during merges or lane changes to lessen the chances of accidents that could potentially slow the movement of refugees greatly. Buses will always take the innermost lane that they can and will have warnings to encourage other drivers to move out of their lane in order that buses can move quickly in the given lane. Semi-trucks will be used to carry excess luggage. All luggage will be sealed with a unique identification system similar to a fingerprint scan to deter theft. Only security, military, and police will have access to the luggages. Discoloration-based instant drug tests will be used as drugs, alcohol, and enemy soldiers will be barred from the buses. When the buses reach destination, everyone leaving will be thoroughly checked by security/police/military. The system will be engaged only at the order of either the Montanan government, the Illinoisan government, or the executive branches of certain large corporations (only if war is declared).

        • TRAPPIST-1h has a small moon with a mass about 350 times less than itself. It is rich in sulfur, metalloids, silicate compounds, and certain metals. The moon is also tidally locked and has an orbital period of 18.4 hours.
        • TRAPPIST-1d has microbial life, including organisms analogous to prokaryotes on Earth. Their level of evolution resembles what was present on Earth about two billion years ago. The planet is tidally locked.
        • TRAPPIST-1b is a highly metallic/rocky planet with no volatiles present. It receives an extremely large dose of radiation and heat from its parent star, and it is tidally locked. It has mainly silicate-based rock and some metals.
        • TRAPPIST-1c has been found to contain silicate compounds, some post-transition metals, metalloids, and multiple period 4 transition metals. Period 5 transition metals, most notably cadmium, have been found in trace amounts. The planet is analogous to the planet Mercury as it can reach temperatures over 135 Celsius on the perpetually-lit side. The planet has no significant amount of atmosphere. It is tidally locked. It has a surface gravity of about 10.6 meters per second squared, and it is slightly larger and heavier than Earth is.
        • TRAPPIST-1d is found to be covered in liquid water (with some ice on the perpetually dark side) and a small magnetic field about 12.9% as strong as that of Earth's. The life here mainly lives by photosynthesizing the carbon dioxide in its atmosphere into oxygen. The atmosphere was found to be composed of 80% carbon dioxide, 11% nitrogen, 5% oxygen, 3% water vapor, and 1% other gases while having a surface atmospheric pressure of approximately 3.2 bar. The planet is, again, tidally locked.
        • TRAPPIST-1f, a planet comparable in size to Earth, has been found to have a few small oceans of ammonia and water (about 89% of which is ammonia) on its surface. Ammonia, water vapor, nitrogen, and trace oxygen/carbon dioxide/hydrogen cyanide have been detected in its atmosphere; it has a pressure of about 9.82 bar. The planet has been found to have a weak magnetic field about 21% as strong as that on Earth. The planet's oceans are colored blue due to the high concentrations of metals dissolved in the ocean. Alkali and alkaline earth metals are present, as well as transitional and some post-transitional metals (most commonly from the third and fourth periods). Even though TRAPPIST-1f is a strategic checkpoint in the search for life based on an alternative solvent, life has not been found on the planet yet.
        • TRAPPIST-1g has been found to hold a rather thick atmosphere of oxygen, nitrogen, nitrous oxide, carbon dioxide, and water vapor. Water and water ice are present on the planet, and it holds an atmosphere with nearly seventy bars of pressure. The planet is tidally locked.
        • TRAPPIST-1h has been found to have a thick metal-rich water ice shell, similar to Jupiter's moon Europa. It lacks a magnetic field and an atmosphere. This planet is also tidally locked. It also has some trace minerals and salts in its water supply, and it may have a silicate-based mantle and iron/nickel-based core.
        • The TRAPPIST-1 system has asteroids, but these asteroids are estimated to have a total cumulative mass about 0.007% of that of the moon. The asteroids here are rare and scarce, but they have some valuable minerals in them (to a lesser extent than the asteroids on Earth).
        • In summary, the system had more nitrogen than previously thought. It contains a relatively large amount of volatiles, and this is consistent with previous findings dating as far back as 2022.
    • An emissary has been sent out to Southern California inviting them to join the ARI. In the meanwhile, the multi-trillion-dollar Montanan industry sector has initiated the construction of fifty geometrical cities as well as the use of hydrogen fusion over fossil fuel.

    • An unusually large and somewhat elongated asteroid with an estimated worth of $8.5Qd (and another smaller asteroid near it holding $550T worth) in many precious in-demand metals has come within one million kilometers of Earth. Advanced mining teams from Montana will be some of the first to scout it out.
    • All Montanan corporate operations have been ceased in Egypt and the Neosoviet Union. Montana in itself does not desire to start a war.
    • As of the recent events, Kultokrat has been found attempting to use the AltUN to assimilate Sorbia into their voivodeship.     • A large cluster of geometric cities in New Cheyenne is fully built; they all took years to build, accounting for multitasking, ultra-advanced air-assisted construction techniques, and the vast quantities of valuable metals from the ludicrous asteroid-mining industry. These new geometric cities are regular hexagons with 50 8-meter floors, 90-meter edge length, and a count of nearly 7,000 individual structures. Each geometric city has an internal usable area of about one square kilometer. More clusters of cities are on the way. Construction is now faster due to the fact that the Artic quantum supercomputer was finished long ago. Much of the construction process is semi-automated. Most of the cluster is between Henderson Blvd. and Mainstreet, with some going west of the former.

    The Republic of Minnesota Is a Democratic, Socialist, and Progressive State that spans all of Minnesota, Most of North Dakota, and Chunks of South Dakota. It is known for it's democracy and political turmoil. The State suffered many hardships in the years after the collapse mainly beginning at first when the Minnesota Republican Party Would attempt a coup. They would try to emulate January 6th by launching an attack on the Minnesota State Capitol but were beaten back and fled the Twin Cities after being defeated by the Police. This would later start a Civil War as the Republicans would attempt to regroup in the Rural Areas. The Civil War would last only 3 months though as Democratic-Farmer Labor forces would launch a massive offensive into the rural areas crushing most of the Republicans. The Remaining die-hard Republicans would flee into the wastelands of the Dakotas and Iowa becoming nothing but bandits and raiders. The Civil War would be a Decisive Democratic Victory and would cause the Republican Party to be banned in Minnesota. After the Civil War elections would be held it would be a landslide for the Democratic but with the absence of the Republican Party the Democratic-Farmer Labor would begin to splinter. Especially as many more progressive people would start to gain more influence in the party. The Democratic-Farmer Labor party would later collapse 2 years later. Out of the Collapse many new parties would be created such as The New Bull Moose Party and the Socialist Labor Party .


    With multiple parties the Socialist Party would secure a very close victory in the next election with there candidate Fortnutbir. Fortnutbir would begin enacting large amounts of reforms to the welfare system, the election system, and government spending. Mainly particularly an election reform that would change the number of house and senate seats creating 32 seats meant to represent roughly 200,000 for one seat and 130 house seats meant to represent roughly 50,000 for one. He would also enact legislation for protections for minorities, and LGBTQ+ members. As well as greatly expanding the Welfare system and introducing a Universal Basic Income. With all the reforms of Fortnutbir he would become massively popular winning re-election in a landslide and Minnesota's Economy and Infrastructure would be restored to almost pre-collapse levels.


    During Fortnutbir's Presidency Minnesota would also conquer into the Dakotas mainly to destroy Republican bandits in the region and secure a good chunk of Minuteman Missiles in the Region. The Foreign Policy of Minnesota is rather neutral but is Open to joining Alliances.

    Emerging from the mountains and vast forests of Washington, Oregon and Northern Idaho the Northwestern Imperium has declared itself to be one of the last bastions in the world against the forces that seek to undermine the Aryan race, Western Civilization, and Christendom. The border between Southern and Eastern California is highly volatile, with both sides engaging in occasional skirmishes over the border and aiding resistance groups meant to destabilize each other; the prospect of war breaking out is very plausable.     The Federative Socialist Republic of California (FSRC), often known as "East California" or simply "California", is a nation located in the western region of the former United States. Shortly after the collapse of the aforementioned country, California was united independent under a socialist banner (at least the southern region. Most of the northern region was ceded to Cascadia). It was known for its rapid industrialization project, particularly in the least developed SR (Socialist Republic) of California: Sonora, which is located in the desert region. Despite the industrialization project carried out by the government of the FSRC, the country also does its best to protect the environment (e.g. banning sports hunting, protection of endangered species like the jaguar and Mexican gray wolf of Sonora, development of green technologies, combatting the ongoing drought and California's poor air quality record, introducing programs that aim to make air in cities (especially in more developed and urban areas) like Los Angeles clean and free of any smog, restoring bodies of water that have been drying up over the past decade(s) to their natural state, etc.) at the same time yet tries to meet the material conditions necessary to achieve communism through industrialization. That is, however, until a wave of anti-communist, ARI-backed coup attempts erupted, lead by the Liberal Christian Democrats of California organization. Despite the success in repressing the attempts, the LCDC was still a self-proclaimed nation in the western region of California, however, with limited recognition, but nonetheless by many nations, particularly those that are West-aligned. This doesn't mean, however, that East California isn't critical of the East (ie, Putin, Iran, etc.). The FSRC openly denounces both sides as being equally as reactionary, imperialistic, and chauvinistic.

    • San Diego has recently suffered two bombings from Indonesia after failed attempts at destroying the bombs by sending out missiles to destroy them. A majority of the people residing within the evacuation area, however, evacuated sucessfully underground in bunkers following the emergency, with the outcome being little-no casualties and/or deaths. Firefighters and planes with fire retardants were immediately sent out to deal with the fires that were a result of the two bombs. The government is also currently rebuilding the city, costing a lot of damage.

    Colorado after the American collapse would have a civil war between the Democratic Republic of Colorado (DRC) and the File:ChristStateCO.png Christian State of Colorado (CSC). The DRC would win the war and ban the Republican party and its supreme leader Lauren Boebert. The new country would have its first prime ministerial election and would elect the democratic socialist Darwin Soup. He would oversee his program of creating truly democratic socialism in Colorado. Colorado holds 8 core values Workplace Democracy, Healthy Democracy, Progress, Liberty, Welfare, Equality, Ecology, and most importantly Solidarity. Colorado takes pride in its mountains as shown on their flag, in preparation to defend Coloradans' sovereignty Colorado has an emergency defence plan that utilizes the defensive ability of the Rocky Mountains in the case of a foreign invasion. Colorado abides by Alter-Globalism and so they involve themselves in foreign affairs socioculturally, economically they have a fair trade policy to allow economic cooperation between allied nations without the exploitive nature of free trade, militarily Colorado does not intervene in foreign wars except for certain situations (ie. Nazi Germany and WW2) instead Colorado maintains a military for defence. They eventually formed an agreement with the locals to form a nation, and were forced to sign a new constitution which granted more freedoms and had a more Libertarian outlook. The New American Republic was formed. In the turmoil, a new Christian revival came about, bringing unprecedented growth to the Swedenborgian New Church within the territory.

    Now, it is a land of differences and changes, where the Old America meets the New. In the Northern Cities, affluent metros run billion dollar corporations abroad. In the central farmland, men live modern yet traditional lives, utilizing new technology to improve agriculture.     It is a dominant party state under the mainline Liberal PTA, as the more ideological voters all back separate parties. To skirt this, an extremely unstable coalition of the NLU, NCC, FSP, and CNP successfully passed a constitutional law requiring the president to be an independent. Since then, the presidents have mostly been lawyers or businessman types instead of ideological figures (i. e. PTA members in all but name). To counter this, the PTA promoted the powers of the House Majority Leader (once a ceremonial role) to influence the president. Aware that they are confusing elections between Swedenborgians by claiming to be the authentic Swedenborgian party, the NCC has disbanded and dispersed throughout the PTA, NLU, FSP, and CNP. This is most favorable to the mainline Liberal PTA, as the NCC voters have not been so ideological besides believing the religion more deeply than others. Aware voters regard them as the more ideological twin of the PTA, the FSP has brokered a union with the PTA, forming a majority party.

    Sequoyah is a nation formed through a revolution of all indigenous peoples of the region against former settler colonial masters, and their struggle for national liberation. During the 2nd American Civil War under Chairwoman Alexandria Libra and the Communist Party’s leadership, the indigenous peoples of America carved out a state of their own. Hundreds of thousands of white settlers left the country shortly after its creation, but through natalist campaigns, the population was able to recover and the country was able to prosper as the country rid itself of semi-feudal semi-colonial relations of production and advanced into socialism.

    The Baja California Republic (República de Baja California) is a liberal democracy located within North America. It is bordered by the Gulf of California to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the West. It is bordered by 2 states, The Federative Socialist Republic of California and The Workers Commune of Arimexico. The country has a predominantly dry climate with a mix of desert and Mediterranean landscapes. The country is a liberal democracy earning an 88/100 on the democracy index. Despite this, the country has had a troubled history, still reflected today by a low quality of life and large racial disparities. Water is a huge issue with countries often suffering droughts due to insufficient water supply. Around 10% do not have easy access to clean drinking water. Additionally, it is estimated that white Californians make 15% more than other Californians and Male Californians make about 5% more than Californians of other genders. This is a byproduct of the old apartheid system that was not abolished until 2000.

    Alaska sees itself as the one TRUE successor state to the USA. It is led by president Julia B., who is hellbent on conquering the rest of the world for America. It rules the whole land of Alaska. The two factions are the Julian Clique, led by Julia B. and her cabinet, and the FDA, who want to create a government where Food Safety is the prime objective and they have absolute power over food and drugs.

    There is much high technology instituted by the pro-market and transhumanist Julian Administration. There are high-speed maglev rails connecting every town.

    Cliques

    The government of Alaska is strange in its form. The only real power that survived from America is the executive branch, led by the President and their clique, who rule as an elected oligarchy. The cliques compete like parties and the elections are held every 12 years. Each clique gets to rule a city all of the time, which becomes capital if they win an election. The Julian Clique rules Anchorage and The FDA rules Fairbanks. Their first president was a 90+ year-old Joe Biden and they revere him like a long-dead emperor.

    The Cliques usually form around a central figure and dissolve when they die. The FDA is everpresent. It is always a 2 party system with 1 politician’s clique vs the FDA. The Julian Clique recently replaced the Biden Clique.

    Relations

    It is extremely aggressive in foreign policy and refuses to join any international organization, as that would imply other countries besides the USA exist. DO NOT ENTER A TRADE DEAL WITH ALASKA It buys up land and companies in other nations through shell corps until it controls their entire economy.
