PCBaller World/Poland/Treaty of Baranovichi

The Treaty of Baranovichi constituted a formal multilateral agreement among the Polish Social Nationalist Republic (PSNR), the Eastern Roman Republic (Byzantium), and the European Commonwealth (EC) to establish and govern the territory formerly held by the Federal Republic of Eastern Poland and Lithuania (FRWPIL), which was under the occupation of the PSNR. The treaty provided a framework for reorganization and delineation of borders within the region, resulting in territorial gains for the PSNR and the EC, while also granting Byzantium's consent for the involvement of the Ukrainian government in exile in the newly established Ruthenian Salvation Area.

As the Eastern Crisis approached its conclusion and the remaining vestiges of the FRWPIL faced defeat in Volhynia, the PSNR, aiming to legitimize the annexation of Belarus and preempt any prospective revisionist challenges to the new regional landscape, proposed a preliminary peace treaty to resolve the Eastern Crisis. Following thorough deliberation, both the Byzantine President and the King of the European Commonwealth found consensus on the treaty's provisions and subsequently affixed their signatures, thereby formalizing the agreement.
