Sovereign Corporations of Britain, is a collection of city states located in Western Northern Europe. The city-states are organized primarily for profit, it is considered to be an authoritarian system which has complete surveillance over the people and heavy military forces, this is to ensure stability. The largest city in the Sovcorps is Glascow. The official languages of the Sovcorps tend to be English, although some don’t make one or chose classical Scottish. The country is based around architecture surrounding technology and profit, cyberpunk as one were to say. The economy is entirely dependent on the market systems, with individualism and a free market, it also with the New Western dollar is based on a fixed fiat currency to prevent inflation. In addition to the free market, most taxes have been abolished except for the Land Value Tax, which is considered the central part of how these states get there profit, it’s kind of a land based joint-stock company in a way.

History

When the United Kingdom collapsed, Scotland was secured by the government that had occupied it beforehand. It remained under this control for a while, with most of the government issuing propaganda against the anarchy that had consumed the rest of Britain. By 2034, rising violence between the state and the people led to the creation of the Rogue Commune, which became a breeding ground for death and anarchy. It almost took too long for the people to rise up, and even Hood herself—the founding mind behind the creation of Rogue—admitted that it would lead nowhere but death. A few members of the military council were fed up with the councilist style of governance. They claimed that they had given up all their power to fight together and feared that in a real war, they would lose to the opposing faction. They also blamed communism for the mass emigration of Scottish intellectuals to other parts of Europe. Drawing from ideas found on an old blog, they formulated a new vision, and with the support of the wider population—many of whom were tired of the constant infighting between various councils and communist factions—they founded the first European Neocameralist state. Meanwhile, many former communist leaders established a militia group in the Highlands called the "Rogue Solidarity Front."
