Paternalistic Conservatism shortened to PatCon, alternatively Conservative Social Democracy shortened to Consocdem is an economically centre to centre-left, culturally centre-right to right and usually civically moderate ideology.

Disraeli's terms in office can be said to be the Britain's first real shift away from laissez-faire economics and it's modern welfare system.
