Folkish Syndicalism, (short: FolkSynd), is a fascist ideology with seeks to combine a socialised economy and organic state formed on National Syndicalist and Corporatist principles, in synthesis with a revival in national culture and pagan ethnic religion. It decries the internationalist socialism of Marxism as well as the inherently anti-nationalist nature of capitalism, and critiques Abrahamic religions as being naturally universalist and destructive to national identity.

Etymology

The name Folkish Syndicalism was first coined by Iefan Alstūd in 2023, in trying to name his belief system without drawing any negative connotations to fascism nor communism. The first part of the name, Folkish, relates to the nationalistic and ethnic pagan element of the ideology, while the latter refers to the economic and governmental system, that being syndical and based around state-run unions.

Beliefs

Folkish Syndicalism believes in a fascist state, with a state socialist economic model based around trade unions and profession groups. Philosophically, it draws heavily from Hegelian and Gentilean traditions of philosophy, especially the latter's ideology as applied to Fascist Italy.

Non-Marxian Socialism

Unlike more mainstream fascists, Folkish Syndicalism adopts a much more socialist economic system, justifying this through the reasoning that the bourgeoise are inherently a globalist and reactionary class that has always worked against the interests of the nation and fascism in pursuit of profit or class security. As such, it believes in a form of proletarian rule, similar to a dictatorship of the proletariat, however without the end goal of communism, and an economy where the means of production are held by the worker's through syndicates, and near-all Industry owned by the state.

Paganism

Folkish Syndicalism holds that the Abrahamic religions are reactionary and inherently universalist faiths, and thus work against national interests, as well as being a foreign influence on most nations. For this reason, it advocates ethnic pagan faiths, such as Asatru, Fyrnsidu, and Druidry, as proper religions that should be revived as part of the national palingenesis that Folkish Syndicalism seeks.
